I am 100% agree that the Ram Mandir is not the political but it's a great social movement to restore the true indian pride and to wash the stains of slavery, it is sincere effort to save true secularism and social fabric of Bharat. Ram is not the religious idol rather he is the symbol of culture he was the great idol for every indian irrespect of cast and religion. The movement is the symbol of nationality. It's everyones duty to protect our national pride. If shri Ram was not borned in india and too in Ayodhya, then where?. Just go to every heart which will tell the same story of Ram and Ayodhya .It is shame who thinks Babar was our hero rather than Ram. The movement can't be viewed with communal specs. It apeals to everyone to join it to save

We wish Shri Rajnath Singh all the best. His interview has been good ; answers are forthright , honest and to the point . His comments that Congress is really playing 'communal' politics ' , sowing poisonous seed in the form of reservations in Jobs and in Education Institutions for Muslims is quite apt . In my view , one should stop calling Muslims as Minority . The number of Muslims in india is huge and that is the reason all these Communal Congress , RJD , Samjvadi , CPM et al are wooing them . Would they care if nmber of Muslims was 2 % rather than the present 20 % ( average ). Certainly not. Muslims vote is the key thing . Their development and advancement is secondary . In reality it is better for these parties if the Muslims remain 'backword'. BJP should expose this Hypocracy ! Muslims , just as all other sections of Society should progress . Merit and Skill should be the criterion for jobs and not religion or cast.Special efforts could be made and facilities provided for development of poor and disadvantaged. Does not rediff has a reporter who has any knowledge of UP politics. When Rajnath Singh says that he won't give party tickets to people with criminal background, he should be asked about his relationship with Pratapgarh terror Raja bhaiya. Rajnath Singh was one of his most vocal supporters when he was in jail. And it is alleged that he took Raja bhaiya's help to protect his ministry when Naresh Aggrawal was sacked (no point for guessing how the ministry was protected). How can he claim that he won't give party tickets to criminals when he does not mind taking their help. May be he will just have weak candidates where BJP friendly criminals are contesting and then these criminals can support BJP govt as independent as Raja bhaiya did.
Disclaimer: Raja bhaiya is a friend of Mulayam as well and it was Mulayam who released him out of the jail. I am not saying that BJP is the only culprit and all other parties are saints. But then isn't BJP supposed to be different from SP.
