V.P.Singh had blotted his copy book with his Mandal slant ages ago and with that gone into the realm of irrelevance.Regardless of his efforts to resurface and the efforts of a discredited section of the political spectrum to resurrect him,say what he might,he continued to be kept in the dustbin of history For once,he has a point.He is making it well.There is logic.There is substance.There is real concern for the welfare and the integrity of the nation The dubious nuclear deal with the USA needs to be scrapped forthwith.Lot more seems to be involved than the mere prestige of the ruling party We did not lose lives and get Independance to become the vassal of the USA.Our scientists did not struggle to take us this far in the nuclear field to surrender our achievement to the hegemonical dictates of the USA.If our Scientists can take us this far without the \'assistance\' of the USA why doubt their capability to take us further without the string attached assistance? Why suffer the arrogance of the likes of the US ambassador? Why are the Scientists not being consulted in the first place? Let us go by their advise.Scrap the deal in the meanwhile S.Ramaswamy
Mr. VP Singh's letter has clearly indicated all assumptions into a truth behind the screen. India should not EVEN compromise on it's Nuclear weapons development. Yes, the so called 3rd world countries are being forced to OBEY the Big-4's commands. I guess this is the next decades trend. VP's letter will also fall into Re-cycle bin for media masala post-Nuclear deal.
President Reagan cast his spell on Gorbachev and got Gorbachev to torpedo and dismantle USSR from within. It was very successful sabotage by the top man of USSR.
Now President Bush has cast his spell on PM Man Mohan Singh and PM MMS is fully busy making plans to ruin and dismantle India's nuclear defence capability. It is again a case of sabotage from inside by the top man of India.
American technology based on uranium fuel is utter rubbish for Indian needs and no India loving and sane person would ever have agreed to such a disastrous deal .It seems PM MMS has been totally drugged and lost all sense for safeguarding India's interest.
Now question before all responsible Indians must be how to save India from this peril unwisely brought upon by a PM who is bringing this disastrous on India.
US as a super power will not hesitate to send another 7th or Nth Fleet to invade India if it sees India lacks counter Nuke power neutralized by this N-deal of 18 July 05.
