First of all, stop visiting astrologers. Have confidence in yourself and think deeply day and night continuously that your relationship will be very happy and great and have faith in your husband also. All human beings are good.

The way we think really does wonders

The mahasatsang was awesome, its not easy to describe the feeling of sitting with a million people and meditating. The best part ofcourse apart from the kriya was Mr President Kalams speach. Dear u should see the crowd standing up in amazing craze for the wisdom of the prez. He was fantastic. And the crowd behaved a lot mature than anyother meet I have ever seen.

Swamyji has suggested that sense of belonging is the solution to the problem of corruption. But increasing corruption indicates that people are losing their sense of belongingness, what to talk of to nation or society even to their families, despite all kinds of\'education\' . Because now what is being promoted and glorified through all media is \'wrong\'only (in terms of common man\'s values)in the form of ads and programmes showing always high life and best possible faces i.e. things not a happenning in common man\'s life. These are adversily affecting directly the children and youth and so the society\'s future.Children are rather becoming rebellious . Who censor, clear and sanctions all these? Obviously the persons who are highly resourceful educated , positioned, powerful justifying their acts by using high sounding words. Punishing wrong now is proving something like \'Beej Rakta\'. For curbing corruption protection of the honest and sincere people is equally important, so that this unprotected minorty is saved from extinction and think how we spread them. To reverse the trend very common man and their basic requirements should be the focus of our all deeds.

Question: If spirituality could have removed poverty and other evils from this society, spirituality prevails in india since times immemorial, but not even a tinge of evil has been removed. On the contrary it has inreased multifold.

???>>>>prevails means it still exists and revived is what I read.It can't be destroyed. The answer lies in your question itself. yes, problems became multifold because ageless wisdom is not followed. read below and try to ask questions.also,

spirituality means understanding that you are not the body, mind, intellect but you are beyond all this and pretty much you are sparc of divine.that's all.(Aham Brahmasmi) so once folks are educated in that manner from childhood, you will maintain balance in daily life.As Dr.Kalam said, happiness at the individual level is what leads to society's welness, individuals are responsible for whatever they are. Our Karmic law teaches us that only. Our Veda's say that before you start talking about world, first change yourself.

also, spiritual masters look at the big picture.so...

Question: But if spirituality is for those who are afraid to lose thier wrongly amassed wealth which is the case as on today, then...down with spirituality!

Answer: Spiritual Master's look at the Big Picture, not like you and me. for them good/evil are the bothsides of the same coin..we think good is separate and evil is separate, but they think all are one...you and I are just from one source..only the mind that creates trouble which makes one bad or good...they look at you and me as a sparc from the same source...that's all..their compassion pours from that realisation..that's why they always be positive under testing circumstances also.

Just because some frauds misuse, you can't claim the whole spirituality itself bad.It is there for 3 yugas...in fact, they know that empty stomach won't solve the purpose..that's why they undertake so much of service activity..also, bad guys comes to gurus and inturn gets transformed..(Not all, but atleast some of them)...

Sir, corrupt people are like parasites in your intestines(systems) sucking nutrients depriving your body(country). If you want to deworm with medicines(laws)you will have to starve them(parasites/corruption) otherwise the medicines will fail. Recently, Mr Veerappa Moily wanted to do right things for this nation, but his pursuit is misleading. IAS and IPS are not the kingpin in this game. Mr Moily must address the root cause of this mess of corruption. Firstly, he should target the breeding ground which generate all sorts of corruptions. The standing committees and plan sanctioning authorities are the main culprits. If any department gets its financial sanctions/approvals 5 or 10 times more than what is originally required, by providing false exaggerated technical or non-technical nomenclature to the conniving authorities then the so-called CORRUPTION has to take place. Now Mr Moily and his likes must understand where these parasites are camouflaged in the systems

spirituality Vs Reality
by ranipeta sudhakar on Feb 21, 2006 02:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I beg to differ with the guru on the following counts:
If spirituality could have removed poverty and other evils from this society, spirituality prevails in india since times immemorial, but not even a tinge of evil has been removed. On the contrary it has inreased multifold.
A starving soul cannot be calmed with all kinds of spiritual intakes. Infact they make him all the more dependant on someone and something. What he actually needs is a bowl of something to eat.So if spirituality can feed someone in need or show ways of earning to feed himself, then yes..Spiritualty zindabad! But if spirituality is for those who are afraid to lose thier wrongly amassed wealth which is the case as on today, then...down with spirituality!! How rightly Karl Marx said (iam not a Marxist)" if poverty knocks at your door, honesty flies out of the window". My sincere submission to the Guru and all his ardent semiconscious followers is to think of those who are at the moment blind and deaf of hunger to reach their ears and eyes and ultimately their heart through their stomach first. Spirituality is only for the supposed to be fearfully contended, and not the daringly hunger. So lets preach reality.

Dear Ranipeta Sudhakar,
If you truly understood what is spirituality, you would have understood what the Guruji means. I am not a follower of this Guru nor have i taken the Art of Living course to support his point of view. Even then I have been able to understand what he means by saying Spirituality can remove the problems India is facing. It is like saying "there is no God because if God exists why there is evil". I think you need to understand what spirituality really means. You should not mistake it with religiousness. To tell you just very briefly - Spirituality is a way of life and its a way of living in harmony with your conscience. That means you live your life performing the duties as a child, sibling, parent, friend and also as a citizen of a country. If everyone does this, do you think we cant solve problems. I have learnt the true meaning of Spirituality from my parents and I am glad that I know that i can solve my problems as well as help in solving my country's problems. I feel sorry that neither you know this important truth nor that you should not to call the followers of any Guru as "Semiconscious" especially when you dont even know them. Wake up my dear friend.:)

Dear friend,
Ya to some extent if u see u r right since u hav seen it from circumsfrance so wat ever u feel is correct.Actually siprituality is for those who understand the need of it and who hav risen from the basic wants of living. that is it is not for a bread earner but for the person who is seeking the knowledge to understand the higher goals in life and luks beyound being a bread earner.Stil guru ji is doing at least a bit to make the common man and the bread earner person to at least hav som knowlege of the art opf living so that may be he will require at one point of life to kno what he did and wat was the purpose of him being a human being.Guruji is simply trying to make people to understand they are human being first and then somthing else which our society has forgot so there is no need to criticise if some one is doing good to the society at least we can keep silent than critisisng any body doing a noble job for man kind

Sri Sri Ravishankar and Bangalore
by Sunil S Chiplunkar on Feb 21, 2006 10:33 AM  Permalink

The fact of the matter is that Bangalore with Yelehanka at the epicentre was bathed in spiritual sunlight last week end. The magical spell cast by similarly attuned minds in synergistic meditation for peace and happiness has energised Bangalore and India. Now is the time to sustain the tempo by encouraging Bangaloreians to take to Sudarshan Kriya universally and organising on a predetermined single day for all Bangaloreans to come out to parks and pray with all oneness.
