spirituality Vs Reality
by ranipeta sudhakar on Feb 21, 2006 02:55 PM

I beg to differ with the guru on the following counts:
If spirituality could have removed poverty and other evils from this society, spirituality prevails in india since times immemorial, but not even a tinge of evil has been removed. On the contrary it has inreased multifold.
A starving soul cannot be calmed with all kinds of spiritual intakes. Infact they make him all the more dependant on someone and something. What he actually needs is a bowl of something to eat.So if spirituality can feed someone in need or show ways of earning to feed himself, then yes..Spiritualty zindabad! But if spirituality is for those who are afraid to lose thier wrongly amassed wealth which is the case as on today, then...down with spirituality!! How rightly Karl Marx said (iam not a Marxist)" if poverty knocks at your door, honesty flies out of the window". My sincere submission to the Guru and all his ardent semiconscious followers is to think of those who are at the moment blind and deaf of hunger to reach their ears and eyes and ultimately their heart through their stomach first. Spirituality is only for the supposed to be fearfully contended, and not the daringly hunger. So lets preach reality.
