The fate of Saddam Hussain
by Ravikant on Dec 30, 2006 10:40 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Saddam Hussain was a ruthless ruler and suppressed dissent with an iron hand.He did not hesitate to execute those who did not toe his line or were opposed to his policies.

Nemesis has caught up with him. Ideally, he had only two options either get executed or commit suicide. Hitler preferred suicide while Ceusecsu of Romania was executed. Milosevic of Bosnia was sent to an asylum else he too would have faced execution.

Nations with diversity in their peoples choose either a democratic path to sustain their unity or rally under a tyrant.

It is tragic that the condition of Iraq has worsened with the elimination of a person like Saddam. He has become some kind of a martyr following his execution rather than being consigned to the dustbin as his final destination.

Such is his fate that he has become a kind of a hero in death even after committing the worst excesses on his own people.

Oh Saddam, we are proud of you the way u faced the death bravely. If the same thing would have happened to Bush,he might have begged Saddam's feet to not to execute himself.Because Bush is timid ,shameless and most terrorist in the world.

Oh Arab countries, Saddam is your own blood,Is the way of showing your kindness and humanity and not condemning anything against Saddam's execution.Be careful arab leaders, the same can be happen to you in future by US.

Long Live Matryr Saddam. You are not dead and living in millions of people's heart.

Hello world, its the time to fight againt US and wake up quickly.

A great leader and a martyr
by Girish on Dec 30, 2006 10:38 AM  Permalink

Mr.Saddam Hussain was a great leader and a martyr who died for his country. His execution is not justice but cold blooded murder of an old and great leader in captivity. The world must take notice and decide what is happening, what is right and wrong.

Good old Iraq, and even west Asia, was a far better place during his autocratic regime than it is now, occupied by rouges and foreigners.

If there is really some meaning to human rights and dignity, then the world and especially United States and its allies, have shamefully failed to respect it.

Long live Saddam and people like him who give their life for honour and their country, unlike our democratic leaders who go all out to sell their as well as nation's self respect in public.

Saddam's Hussain Execution
by Saurabh on Dec 30, 2006 10:35 AM  Permalink

It is a shame on the US & Allied Countries in the manner in whch the whole Saddam's issue has been handled including his execution. Manner of Saddaam's execution confirms the unconfortable postition of Americans on Iraq issue.
THis needs explantion from Americans and the UN.

execution of saddam hussein
by avs on Dec 30, 2006 10:12 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

No one should not be executed in the world.
Execution is not a final soluation. If any violation done against human rights , concerned should be properly punished, other way than an execution, to keep the hierachy.

it is wrong to attribute saddam's execution to the rules of karma. if this rule is to be applied, the entire USA would have been erased from history long ago for their crimes against humanity, hiroshima and nagasaki being the prominent among them.

It is a sad day
by Sreenivasan Raju Aiyer on Dec 30, 2006 10:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is most unfortunate at the way Mr. Saddam Hussein, met with his end. Finally the law of Karma seems to have caught up with him and he had to pay the penalty for whatever he had to do as ruler of his country. But I believe there has to be the other side of the "judgement" which made him pay with his life. Going by this "judgement" I don't think any other ruler of the past, present or future can ever be held innocent and they all have to be punished for the ommissions or commissions of their officials. The former Shah of Iran can be held responsible for what his SAWAK did during his rule; may be nearer home, Musharaff can be held responsible for the many massacres his ISI has been carrying out in the Baluchi areas. You ask Osama and he will have a whole lot of things against Saudi Royalty, the Egyptian government etc. The fate of Mr. Saddam Hussein is an indicator of what possibly awaits other dictators, monarchs etc. Only the Hindu Law of Karma may have an explanation for what son George Bush completed started by father GB in 1990! Today is Vaikunta Ekadasi, one of the most auspicious days of the year! May the Almighty Bless H.E. Saddam Hussein with Better Worlds.
