CONITNOUS RULE OF COMMUNISTS CORRUPTED THE ADMINISTRATION IN BENGAL
by waniwani on Dec 21, 2006 10:36 AM  Permalink

Do not give any party to continue to rule the states more than 10 years because, it is corrupting not only the administration, but also the entire ideological caders of the cader based party like Communists as well. First example was continous congress rule in India and the second latest example is so-called leftists Govt. in West Bengal. Their caders are becoming more and more arrogants and their leaders are more and more attracting to get the fruits of power and money and this is the outcome of Singur deal done by Buddhdev in West Bengal. Office of Profit issue rocked in Parliament and entire country exposed true color of leftists ideology and they proved that they are also the part and parcel of corrupted democratic creatures who are degrading India's culture thereby paving the way to disintegrate the country, once integrated by the British Rulers. Singur issue shows that leftists are not behind the Congress atrocities committed during Siddharth Shankar Ray's rule in West Bengal and now communists are more and more becoming supporters rapists and looters. Judiciary in West Bengal also biased - see when leftists announced Bandh / strikes, it is legal, when TC calls, it is illegal

The Second Martyr of Singur
by Subhankar Chakrabarty on Dec 19, 2006 08:46 PM  Permalink

WB CM order for a CBI Inquiry on the rape and murder of Tapasi Malik is yet another farcical act added in the scenes of 'industrialisation' drama already staged by the ruling Left Front Government leaded by CPM.
In the rising resistance struggle of Singur peasants against the CPM party and so-called 'left' government Tapasi is the second martyr killed by the rullers henchman. Previously 26-year-old youth Rajkumar Bhul was severely beaten by 'police' (read official cadres) and courted death due to internal haemorrhage. Yet, officially it was a 'normal' death.
In the course of Singur movement Tapasi's brutal killing would turn the wheel of audacious 'development' chariot of Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and CPM against them.
Struggling peasants and people around the state must stop further atrocities on peasants and common people in the name of development or industrialisation. The days of CPM are really numbered and they have to face the wrath of the common people increasingly beyond the struggling western parts of the state including Purulia, Bankura and West Midnapore.

Adivasis/Tribals losing their land
by john jantu soren on Dec 19, 2006 08:17 PM  Permalink

There have been a large number of Singur cases, Adivasis have been losing their land so rapidly not to the companies but to the non-Adivasis/Tribals. A burning eg. is Gostara Malaychandi village under Jagdishpur GP under Raiganj police station, dt. U/Dinajpur. The land belongs to Gopinath Soren but is being grabbed by outsider and also is filed case against the land holder. We requested to ADM, SDO, SP, OC, but no help has been given so far. I don't know what will happen in the days to come.

Sometimes, I remember the famous Santal Hul (revolution) 1855.

Good Gesture By CM
by Subha on Dec 19, 2006 06:13 PM  Permalink

Well an out and out great step by the CM of West Bengal but hardly doubt that it is enough to rouse the logical sense of Ms Mamta Bannerjee. She is desparate to find a way to get attention. Had she been rational West Bengal could have gained a lot. In any democracy the opposition has a great role to play..

The death of the young girl is unfortunate and sincerely hope that the culprits who committed this crime should be severely dealt with..
