WB CM order for a CBI Inquiry on the rape and murder of Tapasi Malik is yet another farcical act added in the scenes of 'industrialisation' drama already staged by the ruling Left Front Government leaded by CPM. In the rising resistance struggle of Singur peasants against the CPM party and so-called 'left' government Tapasi is the second martyr killed by the rullers henchman. Previously 26-year-old youth Rajkumar Bhul was severely beaten by 'police' (read official cadres) and courted death due to internal haemorrhage. Yet, officially it was a 'normal' death. In the course of Singur movement Tapasi's brutal killing would turn the wheel of audacious 'development' chariot of Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and CPM against them. Struggling peasants and people around the state must stop further atrocities on peasants and common people in the name of development or industrialisation. The days of CPM are really numbered and they have to face the wrath of the common people increasingly beyond the struggling western parts of the state including Purulia, Bankura and West Midnapore.
