Though I respect Raman's view, he is completely wrong when he says we should be more worried about muslim sensitivities. it suggests that we should put terrorists above our national interests. terrorists are like rats they should be either in cages or killed !!!
The last friday of ramadan is called "Alwida" in india and has similar names in other part of the world.Muslims do not celebrate anything called"Al-quds". may be MR.raman has invented a new festivals for the muslims.AL-Quds is not celebrated by muslims to condemn the israeli occupation of Israel.Mr.raman should read about Islam before making such derogatory statements. I have heard the term Al-quds for the first time in my life. The last friday of Ramadan is celebrated by muslims all over the world to thank Allah for blessing them with the holy month of ramadan and to bid farewell to Ramadan and to greet the coming Eid.
I take objection to your description of Diwali as a 'Hindu' festival in your article, and the expression reeks of parochial and sectarian connotation. Diwali is an Indian festival, a festival which brings the entire country and its citizen even across the globe together. View the broader picture and accept the transcendental phenomena of Diwali
These days after every incident everybody wants to wait for claim made by certain terrorist group. This is a wrong way of thinking. You should be able to reach the actual culprits without waiting for them to tell you! This is very ridiculous! It means they are more organised and powerful(?) than your security agencies.
We should be serious enough to cope with such situations successfully.
Dear mr. Raman, It is cowardly act and India should not change its policy just because the Muslim populace is living in the sub continent. It is high time that Indians start fighting terror with terror. You see the example in MEAST. Why cannot Indians sacrifice their life for saving the country just like in war situation?
