Last friday of ramadan in india is called\
by Naved on Oct 30, 2005 03:13 PM

The last friday of ramadan is called "Alwida" in india and has similar names in other part of the world.Muslims do not celebrate anything called"Al-quds". may be MR.raman has invented a new festivals for the muslims.AL-Quds is not celebrated by muslims to condemn the israeli occupation of Israel.Mr.raman should read about Islam before making such derogatory statements.
I have heard the term Al-quds for the first time in my life. The last friday of Ramadan is celebrated by muslims all over the world to thank Allah for blessing them with the holy month of ramadan and to bid farewell to Ramadan and to greet the coming Eid.
