Hi,Your analysis was petty good except for the fact that DeveGowda heads Janata Dal (Secular) and not Janata Dal (United) as stated. Please be aware of the differences as both the parties contested against each other. Overall a good analysis!
i agree with the writer's views completely.Power hungry parties have come to power in the guise of keeping BJP out of power.Though one can understand that there are bound to be push & pull politics in any coalition, what's happening in Karnataka is settling of scores with rivals without a single thought about peoples' welfare.Added to the woes is the uncertainity of the regime forcing all and sundry in power to go on a money making spree. The babus have lost no time in following suit.I for one cannot see a silver lining in near future. Meanwhile, the state whose reputation which is taking a beating will no longer be an attractive destination for investments anymore. I may daresay Bihar is better off without the son of soil Devegowda!
First of Deve Gowda is not JD(U) boss his party is JD(S). You jounalists want to make sensation out of everything. But buddy realise a fact life moves on. No Deve Gowda, no Krishna can affect one big cities progress. Best advice I can offer you people is to understand the dynamics before commenting anything.
It is an unpleasant fact that Bangalore is literally on the oxygen cylinder. It is, indeed, a nerve wracking experience for anybody, be it a common man or a VIP. A Bangalorean will not pass a day without cursing this sad state of affairs. Whom is to be blamed ? These politicians of all hue and color !!! After Ramakrishna Hegde, Karnataka politics has further degraded and the present crop is fit for the trash can only. But I still feel this is only one part of the story. The Karnataka IT industry should have been more pragmatic in its approach on IT sector. They have opted for a senseless and unbridled approach on the IT industry sector growth. When the city cannot sustain this kind of growth which they can easily assess they should have opted for other cities like Hyderabad or Chennai. Instead it was this mad myth of "it has to be Bangalore only" that has brought my beloved city to this sad state. Enough is enough. Do not exert any more pressure on its infrastructure. It cannot take it anymore, for sure. The best you can expect from these politicians is do more damage. The least is let them do nothing. Let better sense prevail on IT captains /Managers etc.,
Well,to a great extent it is true that Bangalore is on the decline in terms of infrastructure. But to highligth some points on the article written by TVR Shenoy, i guess the foremost basics for a journalist is that he has to get his or her facts right before penning down a article, as print and electronic media play a great role in marking or marring the image of one (person, place, anything for that matter). 1. Devegowda,EX-PM of India is JD(S) leader not JD(U): this is the obsession of TVR Shenoy (NDA Supporter). 2. Ponits raised by Ex-PM (Land Allotment and the subsequent ill effect it has created in the Real Estate)is relevant but the procedure of raisng the issue is to be condemned. 3. It is purely not a political game but also on the fact with which the respective parties have got their mandate( JD(S): Agriculture an drural importance, Cong: Tech savy and urban development) what more can you expect from a government which is divided in their perspective of mandate they have got. 4. High Time for proactive Industry and Government interaction to solve the issues. 5. Mr.Dharm Singh, please act instead of sitting as a lame duck CM.
Disguisting, Agonising, Humiliating, stinking are some of the words which comes to my mind when I see the news about the Karnataka Politics in general nd Bangalore in particular. This IT giants, so called industrialists are all the kissingers of the self proclaimed Angel of mercys like the HDD, SMK or for that matter DS and his stooges.
We know how the funds are swindled by these so called leaders.
One nice thought comes to my mind. By the way they are now talking against each other after shielding them all these days I sincerely suggest to make these ex and the present brass to undergo the latest tests like lie detectors or some other things which is widely used (the one used to find out information from the fraud Telgi).
Suppression of facts by anyone is a very big offence. I find all the men who are slinging mud on others have indulged in supressing the facts. For this, they have to be booked by appropriate laws.
The pertinent question is:
1. What is our legal fraternity doing? 2. What is our media doing? 3. What is the intellectuals doing?
Are we all so cursed to face this humilation, agony, disguistion, and continue to watch the stinking people ?
