Hope this 'classified data' doesn't have the same resemblance and credibility as that of 'Weapons Off (!!) Mass Destruction' used to justifying the unilateral invasion Iraq !! Which eventually turned out to be 'Weapons of Mass DISAPPEARANCE' and utter turmoil witnessed everyday !! You don't want 'as a nation' to be taken for a ride once again - DO WE ????????
Let us be clear in our Foreign Policy approach. Our firm direction is to have 'friendly' relations with ALL nations. This cannot be twisted out of shape by our mendicant views of the leftists/red parties. 2.The degree /intensity of friendship may vary depending on prevailing circumstances. If N.Korea,A Q Khan/PAKISTAN & Co have 'forged' a Nuclear nexus which is apparently spreading in our neighbourhood can we as a responsible Nation remain silent/vote-abstaining passenger, or be active in persuading not only non-proliferation, but progressively work to eliminate Nukes ALTOGETHER.However hard it might be we should strongly work towards non-use of nuclear weapons by ANYONE on Earth. 2.We surely need Iran's natural gas/fossil fuel, but it should not be at the cost of our independence of thought & action, which should be in the interest of National & Global peace.
This peice of information looks more like PR exercise, USA has also shared 'Highly classified' data on Iraq's WMDs which were never found.
Authenticity of US data is questionable in US, so there is no reason to use it for making decisions for India.
In this context it should not be forgotten, that India has in the past several times shared 'classified' data on Pakistan's suport for terreroist, but USA still suports(Funds) pakistans military establishment.
A nuclear Iran will never be a bigger threat to india, or to the world than a nuclear Pakistan.
India's vote against Iran was a blunder that will take time to mend. Mr. Manmohansingh has the brightest brains and more degrees than any previous primeminister, but he needs to strengthen his spinal cord.
An unusual move...sure. Classified data from the same war machine that presented evidence on Iraq and Hussein being behind 9/11 and hoarding WMD's!! Weak justification for the media for what was essentially a politcal decision...
America has done it again! During Iraq war it shared classified info on Iraq. Now since koi aur nahi mila, India ko ullu banaya. hahahahah! What a joke and India fell for it. Oh My God! I had heard we dont have a Disaster management system, now I realised we hada disastrous managament system. Paisa pheko tamasha dekho...
O' Yeah!!! America shared the information about weapons of mass destruction in iraq with the whole world and convinced the world about their existence . now it is the time of iran??? key word :WAR Password:WMD result :endless destruction and more oil for business
India has done the right thing. I congratulate Manmohan Singh govt for taking such a bold step.India should get rid of the mentality to support rouge state like Iran instead of progressive thinking of the west..!!
We know what is the quality or level of US intelligence. IRAQ is the live example of it. How can a mature country like India belived US intelligence on IRAN and backed IAEA proposal on IRAN ?. They should have learned from the latest IRAQ experience. If similar things happens in IRAN what is happening in IRAQ, we are creating grounds for terrorist activities. US may win in short run but in long run it will prove costly to entire world. We will really need to think and then act in this case.
