Nuclear Iran
by C D Pereira on Oct 01, 2005 01:08 PM

Let us be clear in our Foreign Policy approach. Our firm direction is to have 'friendly' relations with ALL nations. This cannot be twisted out of shape by our mendicant views of the leftists/red parties.
2.The degree /intensity of friendship may vary depending on prevailing circumstances. If N.Korea,A Q Khan/PAKISTAN & Co have 'forged' a Nuclear nexus which is apparently spreading in our neighbourhood can we as a responsible Nation remain silent/vote-abstaining passenger, or be active in persuading not only non-proliferation, but progressively work to eliminate Nukes ALTOGETHER.However hard it might be we should strongly work towards non-use of nuclear weapons by ANYONE on Earth.
2.We surely need Iran's natural gas/fossil fuel, but it should not be at the cost of our independence of thought & action, which should be in the interest of National & Global peace.
