These people are animals,killing is their profession,joy,fantasy,passion,livlihood,ambition,religion and philosophy,therefore same treatment should be handed over to them.
Abu Salem, number one enemy of common man, is responsible for killing of innocent people. He must be awarded death sentence and must be hanged in front of public.
If the charges of murdering all the people are proved, he should be given the death penalty. A person who has mercilessly killed others for money cannot be spared.
The diplomatic issues should be handled separately. Not giving a death penalty to Salem should set a terrible precedent and every hardcore criminal should try to evade to a country which does not support death penalty.

Thye Portugese Government has agreed to extradite Abu Salem on our Government's assurance and the death sentence now would mean that the Indian Government (and NOT the NDA) has lied.
We will never be able to extradite any other such criminal.
Further the assurance of any Government should be binding on whatever Government follows, unless there has been a drastic change in circumstances.
Sir:Almost all the developed Countries have abolished capital punishment though they still use it in some forms like injection/electric chair. As far as Abu Salem is concerned his lawyers have used every trick in the book to keep him away from India. CBI had to give a simple undertaking for extradition. Some Counties have become safe haven for terrorists where Portugal is highly rated! Hanging Abu will not bring back the dead rather it will make Dawood happy. Best thing is to get Dawood (if anyone has the guts) and lock him up with Abu!!
Commitment by the govt. of ,right or wrong ,must be honoured. No discussion on this,even a passing remark about this liquidates the credibility of this nation.
