US clarifies on visa denial
by krish on Mar 22, 2005 02:19 PM  Permalink

US always want to have their justification based on their own requirement and judgement.I think people have no right to object.Well MOdis case-denial of visa many may be feeling that he deserves it for going overboard on his religion propaganda or anti or whatever, BUT the question still remains that Modi is a Chief Minister of an elected state which is part of the Largest Democracy-where unlike US there is yet to have black as President-Can we call minotity-here we have prime ministers and presidents and Chief ministers from the so called minority community. While a leader of a dictator ship and militory ruled country is allowed visa.Well this visa is not any NOBEL award that Modi has to lick his wounds-as an Indian I strongly condemn the act of US as another act of super- muscle- up.

Yes we accept the excuse given by US on this issue.

we should also not give Visa to Bush for entering India in December - Jan when he wants to visit India.

And in the same manner we shall tell them this will not effect our bilateral relation and it is just a matter of single man.

US clarifies on via stand
by s subramanyan on Mar 22, 2005 11:26 AM  Permalink

No amount of explanation shasll offer satisfaction to us. Of course, anger apart, there is little point in reacting to this stupid action of the US. Even in the normal times, the decision making faculty of the US was debatable but now after its becoming the only surviving superpower, and governance passing on to the rightist religious fundamentalists, we ought to have anticipated the fickleness of its decision-making.

We may not be as pwoerful as the US but we are an indeopdendent nation. Even in sopite of the fact that we have a fractured governance at the seat of power in Delhi, it is time to calculate every commercial and political decision from our own national prespective even if it is not to the liking of teh US. A hard task for the Congress government especiallya its finance and foregin affairs ministers.

The most hypogritical nation on this planet called The Earth.

Having double and perhaps triple standards.

Shamelessly.

If we focus the same criteria that the Americans are wrongly applying to Narendra, on the cabinet of the Neanderthaal occupying the Oval, the members of his entire cabinet, including the Neanderthaal himself, would disqualify for a visa to visit Bharat Varsh.

It is high time Bharat Varsh considers this belittling act as a provocation.

Earlier what they did to George, then our Defence Minister, was equally provocative.

It is not an instigation of declaring a war against the ugly Americans.

Bharat Varsh should commence treating the condies and fondies in the same manner that they treated Narendra and start applying those American criteria to the American statesmen and stateswomen visiting Bharat Varsh.

They the Americans did not go to Iraq to garland the and kiss the Iraqis !!!

They made extremely gross violations of the human rights there amongst the global protests including strong protest from Kofi.

Why should Bharat Varsh send Natwar to IG international airport at Delhi to receive and welcome condies and fondies and other rawdies whose criminal feet should in fact never touch the sacred land of Bharat Varsh
