Why do we care sooo much about what the biased American Pravda has to say,we know our strengths and we have got a good deal from the US. Who cares if the useless,condescending,biased,ignorant American media dosent talk about us,our achievements will speak for ourselves. Finally US nuclear policy vis-a-vis India is free from the non proliferation ayotollahs (borrowing from Rajeev Srinivasan).
Why do our reporters long for recognition from the American media, the American people and the American government. Looks like we as a nation have still to overcome the habit of bowing before 'gora-sahib'! The story about how American media has ignored our prime minister's visit as also the text accompanying the image slideshow of the state reception would put ay self respecting Indian to shame. Someone should tell these reporters that istead of looking for and being happy about such tiny shreds of recognition, Indias would do well to just be confident of themselves and achieve....recognition will automatically follow...not just from the USA but from the entire world.
