Why do our reporters long for recognition from the American media, the American people and the American government. Looks like we as a nation have still to overcome the habit of bowing before 'gora-sahib'! The story about how American media has ignored our prime minister's visit as also the text accompanying the image slideshow of the state reception would put ay self respecting Indian to shame. Someone should tell these reporters that istead of looking for and being happy about such tiny shreds of recognition, Indias would do well to just be confident of themselves and achieve....recognition will automatically follow...not just from the USA but from the entire world.
