The central govt gave permission to set up minority institutions, this enabled general category students a better chance to get seats. That our govt has now changed its mind is typical of our babus and netas.Our babus and netas, I blame both equally, are adept at changing the rules at any time. Take them to court and they will amend the law.The stand on reservation is just another indicator, that the Indian Govt's word, irrespective of who heads it, is not worth the paper it is written on.We have PPF & NSC rates lowered, supposedly because the govt is bleeding dry, yet govt servants continue getting DA hikes, which I'm sure cost more than the drop in NSC, PPF & postal savings rates. This amendment also means that we as citizens cannot trust our govt.
Let the government now enforce Ouota on Child Birth to the divided society i.e. General, Minority, BC, OBC, ST and SC. The Constitution is in their hands and there should be no problem bringing an Amendment Bill.
Is there any MP from UPA to speak on this issue? NONE. Because that is a fundamental right. And the other rights of the citizens belong to the UPA Government.

Its not just caste based reservations alone. there are draconian laws with the help of which any so called dalit can allege that a so called forward caste member has abused his caste and without any questions the latter will be arrested and tried. Feminism and so called gender justice is of the same genre. Any feminist wanting to extor money or blackmail a man can bring any allegation with a sexual tinge. And the man will be arrested without any questions , tried thru kangraoo court proceeings where it is assumed that no woman can lie about sex, and thats that he is jailed and damned for life. All these fascist constructs like reverse discrimination in caste..feminist laws etc are based on half truths and sob stories drawn out of a partial representation of history.Forward is bad ..backward is good .. women are virtuous .. men are scoundrels.. aryan germans are suprior and upright while jews are subversive and evil.. amen !
quota system was introduced thinking that society will be balanced over some years. 60years have passed what we achieved that only about 7% of the backward population have been benefited. And what else a particular group have been officially labelled as backword. Awareness and education and globlization have significantly reduced the gap between lowet and upper castes. But the politics where most are lacking proper plans to implement the balanced approach to reduce the social divsion. Why we assume the backwordness as the quality of a particular caste. Why not it is based on the people who are poor or underprivialged. What govt did except quota to reduce the caste division in India. There is so much to discuss but whatever the conclusion it should not snatch the right of other who work hard to achieve their career in an environment where opportunities are meager. It is said that backword classes are not able to get the costly schooling and tution to compete with upper classes. But what the truth is that. Backword classes lack awareness and monetary help to succced in the society. Govt with the help of NGO and able peoples to go direct to underprivilaged people to help them succed.
The biggest problem of Congress is SYCOPHANCY. Those loyal to the chief person should continuously show more examples of sycophancy. First of all it was the biggest mistake to include spent forces like Arujn Singh, Pranab Mukharjee, Shiraj Patil and some more, in the new ministry itself as it was well known from their past performances that they are utter useless people and they are in congress because of their sycophantic attitude ( CHAPLUSY - the correct hindi word). Even in the present cabinet Arjun Singh has not done anything new except for reversing syllabus what were changed by previous regime and issuing communual statements and when he was in the process of being shunted, he played the most dangerous card which may spoil the fabrik of Indian Education.
Just for the sake of the chair where you are not able to think the need of upgrading education system, creating more schools and cooleges, make the distribution of funds to universities more transparent, you concentrate on slogans. Why reservation has not brought any upliftment of SC/ST in the last 60 years. a point they should think before proposing increase in any further quota.

I wholehartedly support the reservation policy, provided that the Goverment should provide reservation in central & state cabinates.
Charity should began at home. The politician should lead the nation by example. Mr. Arjun give your ministry to the poor Ramdas.
Well the education level will definetly go on a toss. Think of SENSEX... day this quota shit is implemented i can bet SENSEX will loose 2000 points as FIIs will pull out. And following it will be other financial orgs. so you can imagine SENSEX in between 3000 to 4500 within 2 months of Quota implementation.
This all will lead to an all time market slump as with 50% talent in the institutions like IIT and IIM will mean less investment of MNCs in India. Well then that suggests no job and in the remaining 50% goes to Quota people... and lot of youth will come down to street to Kill, loot, kidnap, etc for food.
