It is indeed a good step taken by the government to Ban human being treated as horses for someone's pride. Whereas the Government should also make an alternative for these Rikshaw pullers so that they and their families are suffered due to the invicible price which government wants to take by stopping the earnings of these poor people. As it is our country is suffering due to unemployment and stoppage of such things will also lead to increase of unemployment or begger menace. ITS BETTER TO PREVENT SUCH THINGS. Now-a-days politicians are trying to cash in on the situations, instead of trying to bring down the poverty line they are bringing down the poor, mean instead of Ghareebhi Hatao, what they are doing is Ghareeboan ko he Hatao. We should do what foreigners do they adopt indian culture to stop their ugliness and we adopt their culture to improve our ugliness. It should not be like this, we wanted a bright future to our country with good features for our people and not just a bright future to our country.
Good that west bengal govt has realised the inhumanity, but it should also consider providing alternate source of livelihood to thousands of rickshaw puuler. One of the alternative will be to replace with cycle rikhshaws.
