What was Basu doing all these years ?

He ought to have addressed this issue long back.
Perhaps he was too busy politicking.
And mind you, this is Jyoti Basu that v r talking about.
The guy who is supposed to be a stauch communist.
Why did he permit the system of two-legged horses to cart the two-legged homo sapiens all these years ?
He owes an apology to those human horses.
Mr. Basu erred there.
And the error was one with substantial stupidity, particularly when Jyoti identified himself with the ideology of communism !
