I thank to mother India who opens possibilities to live in this country. The chance given to me to get good qualification. But it is difficult to get good job who completed their primary studies in their mother tongue and higher studies in English.who also completed their courses available privately it is become the loss of time and this one becomes one of lacking point.Death rate to be decreased from all aspects like accidents, deceases, unlawful actions because the birth rate is controlled .Take necessory actions to give life 100 years for one birth.Let us join our hands to build peace globally .....happy independenceday to all.....Ravi Kumar

India the Great HINDUSTAN / BHARAT MAHAN HAI
by Harish Bagga on Aug 13, 2008 11:37 AM  Permalink

We fought for independence from the Cluthes of Englishmen but any how still they are having the influence or make pressure on us from outside to be retain under their control, directly or indirectly.

Still we have to enlarge our think tank to root out them to not become over power on us.

We are having so many resources as raw with us but due to poor infrastructure or not utilising our knowledge. We are still not self dependent.

We are fighting with each other on small small issues and forgot our aim to become Self-enriched and developing contry.

Out siders are still using our poor man-power for their selfish motives but our so called leader's are also showing their helplessness.

We Indian's are so power full but we have to do the things in a progressive/developing direction.

We have to save the proud of the pride of our brave warriers who brought us this independence day. They provide us this healthy atmospehere to breath in open air of independence. We should not polluted the same for our own short time / self fish motives.

SAREY JAHAN SE ASSHAA HINDUSTAN HAMARA

LEGACY OF AN INDIAN SOLDIER... REALLY.. I SALUTE THEM !
by BINIJOY on Aug 13, 2008 10:37 AM  Permalink

A TRUE SOLDIER'S SERVICE BOOK (IS MORE THAN A TREASURE TO ME)- Late C.G. OOMMEN (ex-service)
I am writing this letter from Cochin, myself Joy, I am the youngest one among six siblings. I am a son of an Ex-serviceman father. My father had joined the Indian Army at the age of 18teen before pre-Independent India. After peace came to the region and subsequent demobilization of the Army, optionally, he had wind up his obligation & got relieved from service just one week before INDEPENDENCE OF INDIA. His first posting was in the Army at CAWNPORE (now known as KANPUR,UP). The 61year old service book of my father is still with me, which is more than a legacy.

Hence, I can perceive or touch the India's freedom & its unlimited joy, which has regained by the untiring & selfless sacrifice of the Ever Alert Great INDIAN ARMY.

Really.... my sincere Salute to all of them.

Joy,EKM, COCHIN

How to be called a true Indian?
by ramanamurthylsv on Aug 13, 2008 10:06 AM  Permalink

A true Indian is one who has a fine control over his inner foes.A true Indian, therefore, need not necessarily reside in geographical India & need not even born in that India. As Dr. S.Radha Krishnan put it " there are barriers for political India but for spiritual India there are no such boundaries"(kindly excuse me,if I am not able to produce Dr.Radha Krishnan's words Verbatim.)There is no nation or culture in the world, that has not got its humble beginings from India & in fact,it is not possible for any growth for any one, however infinitisamal it may be,in whatever sphere, without the touch of Indianism- this is my firm belief & conviction. Believe me that ones birth in this sacred land is not accidental but with a specific purpose only.In other parts,it could be accidental. Such is the greatness of this MOTHER LAND of ours. Let everyone strive to his best to become worthy of being called an Indian.Such feelings, followed by actions that confirm it,are the homage that we can give to this sacred mother lnad "INDIA". Mera Bharat Mahan-always,always,always.....
