Why? Because the Police is corrupt, the CBI is not acting as an 'autonomous' body, but acting as an accredited agent of the ruling party and the judiciary is disposing of cases in a 'super snail' speed. And possibly behind every murder you will find an MLA, MLC, or MP -- who control the investigating bodies! Take a list of unsolved murder casesin the past ten years, you will find the answer. Remedy, none in sight, but the Judiciary can fix a strict timelimit for these cases, and no postponement for frivolous reasons -- and if the police or cbi investigation is tardy the persons should be recommended for immediate dismissal!

Can YOU give data on WHAT PERCENTAGE of murders are ACTUALLY REGISTERED IN INDIA ?
Indians are so stupid and public memory is so short. LET ME SAY IT ALOUD, does NITHARI crimes murders ring a bell ? or you are some brain dead Indian as usual ?
Even in mexico,pakistan, colombia,china all murders are not registered. China even doesnt even release its crime reports internationally. South africa inspite of having a very high literacy level and strong judiciary and strict implementation of rules, has high crime.

Thinsk about nithari Noida murders, police didnt registered report for SIX MONTHS WHEN KIDS WERE DISSPEARING. 36 kids were CUT TO PIECES and police DID NOT REGISTER at all for 6 months just becaus victims were roadside kids. This is REALITY OF INDIA
and this is in the national capital region of India, what about 300,000 small towns police ? Do you think they are professional ?????
There might be 100000 murder in India every year or more.

Yes Russia is a developed country with FOUR TIMES per capita income than India and bigger exports and imports as well. Russia buys more cars than India with just 10% of population. What made you think Russia is an underdevelped country ? USA and europe SHIVER when Russia roars in International forums.
Until we push for 'inclusive', egalitarian growth ..... a bloody future awaits India. Narayana Murthy too said something to the effect a few years ago. Indians, today, are chasing consumerism a la the USA minus a welfare state in place - a hotbed for corruption and crime. Add to that, the menace of genocide and terrorism ! Is that a future we are gifting our children?

80% of India is POOR AND POLICE TREAT THEM LIKE DIRT SO NO CHANCE OF REGISTERING ALL CRIMES BUT ONLY A FRACTION OF IT.
