Class struggle and killing people
by Superman on Jun 17, 2008 05:52 PM  Permalink

On one hand, Prakash Karat is talking about "class struggle and snatching lands for landless", on the other hand, "they are killing our people"....When you are snatching somebody's land forcefully, whatever reason you can give for that, and sometimes killing them(Lenin ordered killing 20 Kulaks(landowners) himself) without any trial- there bound to be a backlash......Your people are killed by the people whose close relatives were earlier killed by you. Communists pursue "hate politics"...and the obscenity of the "Indian billionaires" is quite true.....but how are you different from that? You are giving away lands to the notorious Salim group and calling Ambanis to set up retail shops....So, please do not go in Prakash Karat's word....They do something and say something else.....And when they face opposition, even if it is a small local opposition of deprived people, they term them as "reactionary", "Maobadi", "Trinamooli"....In West Bengal, even if the CM sneezes now, it must be a counter-revolutionary activity of a Maoist to stop the "progress" of West bengal....

Karat Dont Tell Lies - See What Happens?
by AmarAkbar Antony on Jun 17, 2008 05:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rabri Devi died and went to hell. As she stood in front of Yamaraj, she saw a huge wall clocks behind him.
She asked, "What are all those clocks?"

Yamarj replied, " Those are Lie Clocks.Everyone on Earth has a Lie Clock. Every time you lie,the hands on your clock will move."

"Oh," said Rabri, "Who's clock is that?"
"That's Gautam Buddha's. The hands have never moved indicating that he never told a lie."

" And whose clock is that?"
"That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have only moved twice, telling us that Abraham only
told 2 lies in his entire life".

Rabri asked, "Where is my Laloo's clock?"
"Laloo's clock is in my office, replied Yamaraj, " I am using it as a ceiling fan."

Now Yamaraj will have another ceiling fan - karat Ceiling Fan.

Karat raises some pertinent questions
by guk on Jun 17, 2008 05:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I do not agree with the many of CPI(M)s views especially regarding Indo-US nuclear deal and their blind pro-China tilt at the cost of national interests.
However, Mr. Karat raises some very relevant questions in his interview.

1. We may be number one in the world in producing billionaires, but how does that type of growth help the country or the people?

2. You talk of young people going to the malls, but you also have a country where 54 per cent children below 5 are malnourished. Why are they malnourished?

3. Why is malnutrition so prevalent in this country?

4. Why has per capita consumption of food grains actually fallen after liberalisation?

Prakash Karat is the biggest Hypocrat and Idiot
by SHRIJEE ENGINEERING on Jun 17, 2008 05:10 PM  Permalink

These idiotic Communists who are of no use to India will talk always against USA. But West Bengal's IT minister will visit USA to seek foreign investment. Why they should do? For the another crook Jyoti Basu the favourite spot in the world is LONDON. Having screwed West Bengal for about 30 years he did not like even smallest place in Kolkata? Prakash Karat had accepted one thing as per the caption of your news item that he never barks. He realized he is a dog.If he is so interested in developing India with out USA support, why he had allowd Purnendu Chatterjee of TCG group to set up Haldia Petrochemicals. For better India tomorrow, we must handover these species to Osama. The moment these species will reach Osama's place, Osama will shed all his jihadi to become sanyasi.

China may attack India after lympics.
by intelligent on Jun 17, 2008 03:41 PM  Permalink

Former Vice Chief of Army Staff Lt. General (retired) Shantonu Choudhry expects that China is going to up the anti-India ante after the Beijing Olympic Games, and says that it could lead to some border skirmishes. The attempt will be more flagrant if Indias political centre is perceived as weak, he adds.
Whether this starts in the autumn of 2008 or after the next general elections, will depend on Chinese calculations of which parties are likely to form the next government in New Delhi, he says.
Lt. General (retired) Choudhry further adds that the probability of an all-out border war is low, but a series of border skirmishes is a distinct possibility.
He says the growth of the Indian economy and the countrys recent attempts to develop closer ties with the US are viewed with deep suspicion by China.
Lt. General (retired) Choudhry adds that the Chinese fear that growing US ties with India and the nuclear deal will bring about a shift in the balance of power in South and South East Asia which would be against Chinas strategic interests.Commenting on Chinas anti-India motive, he said that Beijing would like to tarnish the image of New Delhi in the wake of perceived struggle for dominance in South and South East Asia.
Lt. General (retired) Choudhry says, China may actually like to engineer a border conflict and the Indian political, diplomatic and military leadership must prepare for it. Along the border there are a number of areas where the Chinese enjoy geographical, logisti
