B.J.P. is no better. it lacks farsightedness. One Babri Masjid destroyed and we gor destruction of hundreds of Hindu temple in return across the continent.!
Supreme court had said providing reservation to a graduate is unconstitutional , do not provide reservation to creamy layer , what did govt do? increase the income slab to 5 lakh India is on the verge of breaking into hundred small countries , thanks to congress.

Every political parties is nurturing the DEVIL called RESERVATION. While peoples' Fundamental Rights are being denied, they are being devided on the name of caste & religion. Govt. should help the economically opressed person with basic amenities like food, education, health and employment. All these should be given to all deprived people. But RESERVATION should not be given to any person on any cost on the name of caste and religion. Only this can make INDIA a Superpower.

Not only land. In all walks of life Hindus are given step treatment. Muslim dominated areas never abide by the law- Paying electricity bills is not required, Scrap dealers in these areas do their business only in cash, No need of VAT registration, clean mumbai team who imposes fine making city dirty will never go to Muslim areas like Bandra station, Kurla, Bhandup sonapur. These scrap dealers burn plastic in early hours and make the entire region smoky but pollution control board will not dare to take any action.
If India reduces its population to 75% of its current population, its energy needs too will come down to 75% of its current needs. As an added bonus, many other problems in India will be solved. We will have surplus schools, colleges and hospitals. It will also solve reservation problem and corruption problem too.
To reduce population, follow ONE-CHILD policy.
If every family produces two children, the population will remain constant, because two children will be replaced by two children.
If every family produces only one child, the population will eventually come down to 50% of the current level, because two parents will be replaced by one child.
Currently, India’s population is growing. This is possible only if Indian families produce more than two children on an average.
India’s current population is 110 crores. Have a target of reducing India’s population to 75 crores by 2015 and to 50 crores by 2030. That will solve all problems of India.

Very Well Written, Please tell me if this can really be accomplished using Gandhian principles of ahinsa or do we need "stick and carrot" policy to achieve it. The current democratic set up coupled with vote bank policies of "please all" will not be able to achieve it. I personally feel that the central Govt should be replaced by the Army "Martial Law". Let the states only have democratic governments. Population control measures should be strictly under the control of the central govt then.

Yes we have already finalized the plan We are changing constitution to reflect it
1. For muslims not more than 20 kids 2. For STs not more than 15 kids 3. For OBCSs not more than 10 kids 4. For general caste nore more than 1 kid , producing more than one kid will be a criminal offence liable to upto seven years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50000/-
Keep voting our party, we will pass this as the first bill next session.

We all have heard that India is a democratic republic. Has the government shown anything about the contents of the nuclear deal? What are the benefits of the deal, what are the threats?
The whole affair seems to be much more fishy than the Enron case where the Maharashtra government guaranteed Enron's profits to be more than 60% of Inda's rural development budget.
I wonder what is there in the secret document? Is Manmohan SIngh keeping the eyes and kidneys and flesh of Indian citizens as collateral? The Indian government which earlier didn't bother when lakhs of farmers opted for suicide will be only too happy to see millions of poor people annihilate themselves.
Someone must tell our leaders that they just don't own the piece of land named India. They must tell us in clear terms what are the promises being made in the deal, in our name.

Don't pass silly comments for the sake of it. What good is 10 more nuclear tests, when so many of our country don't have access running water and electricity. We have enough nuclear weapons to act as a deterrent. We don't need more.
What we need is uranium and access to the latest technologies currently controlled by the G5, giving us access to more and cheaper power.
But as satyarthi mentioned, you sound like a 10 year old kid, commenting off her parent's internet connection.

Yes we have always the option to test. Twice we did that in the past and we faced trade sanctions. So if test again, we will face trade sanctions
What the deal says that the US may seek to call back the uranium supplied in the event of India testing.
The operating word is in the event of nuclear testing. Even here the agreement provides an exception - the right to test if China or Pakistan tests.
No one in the nuclear community believes any more for the need to physically test. They now test through computer simulation using past test data.
This is the reason why Vajpayee government shrewdly went for a series of explosions - to generate such a data base

The Americans covertly trying to use India to check the China and Pakistan. Because the integration and cooperation of regional nations will be much more powerful than USA and European Union. And ultimately the region will be capable of succefully estabilishing embargos agains Westerners for their arrogances. Hence US trying to use India to play in their hands to destabilise the regional integrity.
The Westerners use devide and rule policy to maintain their supremacy to rule the world. The undisputed truth is Bush administration is trying to feed some low quality candies and take the potential India as their colony.
