Our President in in Bazil
by sukumar on Apr 16, 2008 06:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

20 people attended her function because it is her first visit. If she went again, it will be just 2. In India, anybody can be a Minister or President if they supported by ruling party. But just a position can not buy respect from other countries. They are looking things like personality, performance, popularity & ability to deliver intelligent messages to public, etc. She failed to get any repsect in india & others know it. She is a disappointing President of India. I think Lalu is much better.

The issue is being confused ! What is shocking is not that only 20 people attended but that 20 people found the time to waste listening to India's rather bland President speak !
The Congress and the left ( I-know-her-personally Bardhan ) wanted merely to snub the NDA and hence rejected a second term for a great President like APJ Abdul Kalaam ! Now they add insult to injury and sent her abroad to tarnish the image of the country !
No point in fretting or fuming !

It just goes on to show yr knowledge of yu own country. Please get yr facts right first. First of all she is highly qualified.. she has a brilliant academic record and has practiced for several years at the Bombay high court. dont just go by looks... she is highly intelligent but then there is little a President can do in India because of the constitution which gives this post limited powers... by the way what did kalam do sa President besides delivering fancy speeches.. in what way did he change India... his hands too were bound !!!

Sukumar - have some respect for Lalu. You are compaing Lalu and Pratibha?

I only hope that Lalu doesnt sue you for insult and disrespect.

You know a rustic named the calf of his cow as Pratibha. After that he only remembers a sharp thing being thrust into his back by the cow - the cow got annoyed and pierced its horns into the rustic.

You are right - there would have been 100% attendance and there would have been stampedes in public places - provided Sania dressed up the way she dresses up for tennis.

But dont think Pratibha to be that foolish. Her husband is around and she knows that the second murder victim of her husband will be none else than herself for the sake of Sania.

mail which I have sent to our Honourable Madam President.
Her official e-mail id is:
presidentofindia@rb.nic.in

But unlike her predecessor, she wouldn't check her e-mails...I suspect she doesn't know what an e-mail is.

---------------
Respected Pratibha- aai,
Congratulations.
You got a chance to visit Brazil. After the trip you will be going to many other exotic places with your loving husband. Both of you are lucky....having your 'honeymoon' so late in your life with the taxpayers' money.Who cares about that?
Hope you have visited the Amazonian forests and the river. It is lovely isn't it?
Did you take a photo? When you take a photo, please see that you face the sunlight Otherwise the photo wont be clear.
I dont have to remind you...as you are
well aware of what is expected of you..
But still I thought that I should remind you.
When you go shopping, please dont forget to buy mementoes to your benefactress living at 10 Janpath. Dont forget little Rehan- her grand child. Buy for him a 'samba' CD or something to show your loyalty and sincerity to his grandmother.
You should also buy gifts for the 'maali' at 10 Janpath. Dont know what will happen in the future. It is better to keep all of them in good books.

Best Wishes for your future tour to Mexico and Chile.

Yours truly,
A patriotic ciitizen of India who is a part of the group which is financing your jolly trip.

Dear AK,
Dont be that severe. Pratibhatai has brains, forget beauty at this age. Then, she is well educated, in Mumbai and an LLB. She practised for quite a long time at the Bombay HC.

Brazilains Now Suffering From Low Self Esteem
by AmarAkbar Antony on Apr 16, 2008 06:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The very few Brazilians who attended and participated the various events during Pratibha Patil's visit are now cursing themselves.

I am sure most of them will develop problems associated with low self esteem vis-a-vis the Brazilians who did not attend / participate.

Sonia Rani - One Sonia is bursting up India's money by sending Pratibha Patil and her murder accused husband to Brazil on a state visit.

Another Sonia (you) want us to earn more money.

I do not what is going to happen to India. Only hope that both these Sonias do not make a Bindia of India and wear it on their forehead.

President Patil visits Empty Brazil

The next time Pratibha visits say France - the headlines will then read - President Patil visits empty France. All the french people would have left the country to avoid Pratibha Patil.

Now where is Bal Thackeray and Raj Thackeray fighting for the pride of Maharashtra?

Fantastic Sari.

BTW somebody tells me that Pratibhatai addressed the Brazilian Senate in Spanish. At the end of the speech one of the Senate members even congratulated her for delivering the speech in Hindi.

Thats the problem with mere counting. Rediff says only 15 of the Senate Members present. Now take a close look man. Only first and second rows meant for Senate members are occupied, that too with vacant chairs in between.

Others are senate officials, security people, marshals, the press, visitors and other members of the President's entourage.
