Chak De is a very good movie and very encouraging for youngsters. It'll definitely make hockey more popular again in India , it is our national sport as well, god knows how many of us are aware about it!!...But this will add credit to Indian hockey.
SRK and Yashraj has done something diff and definitely worked.Both should make such more movies. This role has been very well played by SRK. Pls do only these types , it suits ur age and maturity.

Swades was a flop film by box-office standards but even after 50 years if u show Swades to your grandchildren Mr Ratikant Gantayat they will tell u that it was a well made film and the film had soul, Films are always remebered for their stories and performances not box-office collections. As for Don plz go to www.boxofficeindia.com Don - in india Rs 51 crores Hit Status. Don - in overseas Rs 32 crores An all time Blockbuster in overseas. Overall status runaway hit. Nachiket is my real name and only one email id... and bhai, i just like good moovies.. jara hat ke type, like seher(arshad warasi), black friday, corporate etc. and chak de is also a nice attempt, when indian hockey is facing such problems... you have to promote this type of movies... let ppl go and watch this type of movies... whats up?
chak de is a good movie. but it is not what people are making it look like. I request every body please watch the hollwood movie "the Miracle". You will understand our hindi movie makers are far behind. The miracle is about the american Ice Hockey team's glorious win in Olympics against USSR. The film conveys a very strong and convincing message about the strength and belief of one person to make impossible looking win possible. In fact many scenes and dialogues of Chak de are directly lifted from the film "the miracle". Friends please watch the movie and tell me. We must appreciate good movies but we must ask our film people give us better quality films. rao c.r.

I agree with this. Also while watching the movie you can easily note an impact of 'lagaan' indirectly, like bonding a team of diff people with one motivation,1 player hesitant to co-operate etc. But ofcourse Lagaan is miles ahead.

srk is reAlly a big notanibaaz. His overacting irritates me . He more suitable as a waiter in Hollywood movies. The old man should learn at least something from Akshay kumar or Ajay Devgan.
