Rediff like Zee is getting to be annoying with this SRK propaganda. SRK is an ordinary actor with ordinary looks and not a very pleasant personality. The man is also openly Islamic. Rediff should stop this nonsense of promoting him.

You are right. This SRK is a no-account no-talent hack, who has been rpomoted and pushed to the forefront by the D-company. This SRK should changes his name to Sharukh Can't because he can't act, is very ordinary-looking (my chauffeur looks better than SRK) and can't deliver a dialogue to save his life. The only reason he is big in Bollywood is because the D-company has suppressed all his competitors, so that this no-talent Moslem can make it big in Bollywood. This SRK is nothing but an atificial product manufactured by the D-company, and sold to the foolish Indian masses. Without the support of the D-company, this SRK would not even have been able to become my chauffeur. There are others in Bollywood, infinitely more talented than SRK, but they will never be allowed to flourish by the D-company. I wish the Indian public would wake up and realize that the "Emperor Khan" is wearing no clothes.

Mr.Chris and MR.Deepak, I'm not a fan of SRK, but one thing i cannot understand, why guys like you are so Jealous of Muslims bcoming a famous. You bring that muslim card in each and everything. The more you bcom Jealous of somebody, the more that somebody will bcom famous. So, stop feeling Jealous abt anybody. Otherwise you burn in that Jealous.

Its good Srk is openly islamic because people think that if u are muslim u cann't be anything else. Bollywood is there b4 SRK and will be there after SRK.Pls look at other telents like Akshay kumar, he gave 4 blockbusters in 2007 (Namaste London,Heyy Babby,Bhool Bhulaiya,Welcome) and SRK gave only Two Hits,movie like OSO was total Crap,and Chak de was Hit because of Tax free.So people don't care about crappy movies from SRK anymore.

akshay's movie are all pathetic remake of south indian film. south films were far better. And have u seen his movie AK movie u can watch only once but chak de definately can be seen many times. Namaste London sucks keep showing how NRI think so little of indian and how pathetic indians are in london total crap i cann't even sit for the whole film
speaking from germany, iam really fed up of this marketing gimmicks for SRK films. initially, people who were marketing indian films were bringing out only SRK's films lke Dil chahta hai, KKKG, etc..and people thought "wow, indian films are colourfull, and that they have such only this hero who is God"....then when i showed them other films of Big B, Hrithik and other movies..specialy TZP,Hum dil de chuke sanam, and suraj bharjatya's films..,they have now accepted that there are other good actors too..other than this slef proclaimed king SRK. that doesn't mean that i hate him..but certainly not the gimmicks from his team. why cant you guys be happy that a Indian is achiveing this feat in a foreign country? why dont u feel proud and be supportive? cant we keep you little fights at home and support the guy atleast when he is among outsiders? what exactly is your problem? is it that SRK is popular? dont we all know how much media gave publicity to Hritik or Abhishek? they still cant match SRK bcos obviously there should be something in him... y not appreciate that fact?

U might be right to certain extend but it is SRK who is promoting Bollywood as a whole through his films. In all his interview he has been good ambassdor for bollywood unlike other stars who promote their own films and themself. People in west are trying to know bollywood because of SRK who is introducing them to this oldest and biggest industry

i dont claim tht srk is best actor but surely he is a gud actor and best entertainer megastar . He has graduated in mass communications and uses his skills 2 promote his films and nthing is wrong with it. I dont know why some people are jealous and not ready 2 accept the facts, some even abuse him. however it cannot and never affects the stardom of SRK.

Well I am not saying he is a great actor.But he has achieved something which is very difficult.There are so many Shahrukh-haters,whenever there is a Shahrukh related news, they fill the whole comments area with abuse.If you hate him so much, then why read the news at all.Just ignore it..But no they can't ignore him.And that tells what he has achieved.

I agree 100%, this fellow SRK is not good looking at all when compared with Hrithwik or Arjun Rampal. Still I don't know why fools think so highly of him. And about acting Please be serious, there is no room for Acting in SRK's movies. He knows how to dance and shout...that's all.

What do you know about acting?? Give me some lessons so that i can try in bollywood as well.
this article is just an ego booster for indian cinema fans or bollywood in particular, because in reality only ppl of indian and pakistani origin and their friends know abt SRK or even AB for that matter. this means they both are not international as yet. aishwarya rai is more popular then SRK n AB they wont even have 5% of her popularity except for the indian n paki origins in abroad.

You are absolutely wrong dear. I had the same impression earlier but after watching the TV footage of the show I found more than 50% of the crowd were non-Indian origin.
one of reader has written that it was Turkish population in Germany which is attracted by SRK for the reason of religion.
i had seen TV clips of the German show where most of them are Goras and hardly could find any other person.
Further Amitabh is most liked indian hero in Egypt predominantly a arab muslim country , same in the case of Morocco. Raj Kapoor is adored by russian for his acting.
Rajnikanth seems to have a big fan followers in Japan. it was known that his film Muthu ran full houses in Japan theaters.
myself a muslim like very much Ajay Devgan for his performance in GangalJaal, Company etc.

Not only SRK, but Bollywood is becoming more popular in Europe these days. The main possible reasons, from my own experience in Germany is that, 1. Europeans are enjoying the Love and culture shown in the films which is completely different from their culture. 2. For historical reasons, most of the Europeans, especially Germans, do not like English and English speaking people, so they obviously like to encourage Bollywood. 3. The quality of the movie making in Bollywood is improved to be comparable with Hollywood (at least some times). so..we shouldnt mind if its SRK or Hrithik who keeps India ahead in the global competition.

Forget about stupid bollywood,Islam is the fastest growing religion among whites in Germany.
1)It was known globally as most known and recognised Indian face in the world. 2)Highest known face in India,where 93% Indian population know the SRK. 3)Ranked higher than Tom Kruise recently movies releases versus OSO. 4)Recently biggest crowd puller by Indian in German Films festival. 5)Over all SRK is SRK.
Shahrukh Khan rules. Guys, after all this is entertainment industry, entertain and earn and let those dependant on these films earn, dont be jealous or bring dirty politics in this industry. If germans like him why we get upset? let them cheer him, what is our business in it whether like him or not common man come out of it
