Plz stop spreading lies that Hindi is our national language. Indian constitution never mentions any language as national language.
Every Indian language is unique and every body must accept and appreciate it.
As of Jayaji is concerned she is wrong in mentioning that she would only speak in Hindi. In Rome be a Roman. If she speaks in Marati she would have gained immense respect from people.
These people must learn from superstar Rajinikanh. He speaks in Tamil in Chennai, Telugu in Hyderabad and Kannada in Bangalore. Hence he has immense respect among people in these states.

She ought to have spoken in Bengali - what a beautiful language and what a wonderful tradition it has! Unlike Marathi and Hindi which are scarecrows in comparison.Look at the giants that language has produced - Tagore and in films - Ray. What is this Marathi supremo with his Dada Kondke tradition rambling about ? And has the Hindi film industry produced anything worthwhile in its 50 or 60 years of existence? Just a handful of superweatlhy stars - most of who have faked their way to fame through song and dance routines.Please stop these mediocre attempts to get into the news and tell that Thackeray guy to read Gitanjali or Kabuliwalah. Also Jaya Bachchan should concentrate on working in Bengali films.
the hindi is our mother toung and necessary to know every body residing in india.in the case of thakre they are culprits and manmohan govt. is higdha govt who can not control the thakre family to avoid the statement.

You have to speak out in your own language. There is no mistake in her stating that they are from UP and would speak in Hindi. Buddy, I do believe in one country and equalism. My only objection is why the heck she roped in the entire state by saying Maharashtra in the stupid fight between a goon and herself. If she could have said Raj Thakrey, i wouldnt have objected. But being a proud maharashtrian, i felt bad about her comment.The only reason, she made this statement is to provoke someone.

Dude , idont give a damn about jaya. The point is , she made this statement to provoke someone. That clearly shows up on her face. But , in doing so, if she should have said that " Raj Thakrey humein maaf karein " , i wouldnt have objected, because it was meant to provoke him. My objection is, why did she said "Maharashtra humein maaf kare". The word Maharashtra, means people in Maharashtra and that includes everyone living in the state. Because, Maharashtrians, never asked her to speak in marathi, or never objected in their UP love. So, why to categorically name Maharashtra in her statement

RASCISM Based on language. a big threat to mankind. any kind of rascism is is the path to the hell.
