She ought to have spoken in Bengali - what a beautiful language and what a wonderful tradition it has! Unlike Marathi and Hindi which are scarecrows in comparison.Look at the giants that language has produced - Tagore and in films - Ray. What is this Marathi supremo with his Dada Kondke tradition rambling about ? And has the Hindi film industry produced anything worthwhile in its 50 or 60 years of existence? Just a handful of superweatlhy stars - most of who have faked their way to fame through song and dance routines.Please stop these mediocre attempts to get into the news and tell that Thackeray guy to read Gitanjali or Kabuliwalah. Also Jaya Bachchan should concentrate on working in Bengali films.
