Dear Sir,

It is high time to snub the people like Raj and others who poison the society and their foolish supportes become puppets in their hands. To keep India united we should discard people who spread hatred.

As per Freedom of Speech & Expression, Indian Citizens are allowed to Speak in any language in Public. There is no need for anybody to make apology. By apologizing you are only encouraging the Politicians to further behave in this manner

by Vidula Oke on Sep 11, 2008 05:22 PM  Permalink

The law of the state says that every shopowner must have signboard painted in the regional language apart from English or Hindi. Making law is first step and to implement it is the second step. Thanks to RAJ!! hope he continues the same forever.

Hindi
by leela karkaria on Sep 11, 2008 05:07 PM  Permalink

Hindi is our national language and not affliated to any particular state. Regional languages is more state bound.
As a celebrity, she and a rajya sabha member, she should be more careful in future. In any case, do as the romans do and contribute towards the state you are living and earning your bread. Share your riches with the charitable organisations working for the urban poor

The rich shouls start working for the development of the country rather than amassing wealth all the time. Not many charitable causes are heard of in the film industry and neither they help their own film folk

unwanted controversy
by rakesh mohan on Sep 11, 2008 03:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Unwanted political stunt. Jayabachan doesn't made any controversial statement. I didn't understand what is the controversy in her statement. "Hum UP [Uttar Pradesh] ke log hai, isliye Hindi mein baat karenge. Maharashtra ke log maaf kariye."
Hindi is accepted as national language nation wide without any controversy so what is the problem .
