Hi, This is a sincere appeal to rediff, please stop the comments section. Most of the comments are irrelevant and usually not of any relation to the article. Half the time we are abusing each other and the other half abusing the writer or rediff on carrying the article. Makes no sense at all. We Indians deserve censorship.

I agree Jatin. Discussion board is for discussion that makes sense. But I cant believe the amount of abusive language people use here. They think writing is freedom, and half the time they just want to make fun of someone. Like some other websites, rediff should start monitoring ids of such people.
Someone reported one Mr Ravi Kumar for abuse - he had only asked people to go here : http://www.icbs.com/IIT/essay-north-vs-south.htm But Mr Ravi Kumar , your subject line was bad.

Mr. Suresh Bhatt be responsible in asking girls what to follow. I can understand if you ask girls to follow sunita williams or sania mirza. Remember that Ash is just a plastic face who dated and dumped guys before this marriage episode. Go and google up articles about her affairs and how she dumped both salman and vivek. How on earth can you say she is a role model. Would you ask your daughter to follow her. If it is an ordinary girl in India and did what Ash did, who do you think will get married to the girl. You are talking about India not some western country.

True, the kajrare kajrare song with all three of them is disgusting. Amithabh Bachchan making out with a young girl in nishabdh is disgusting. These people will go to any extent to make money. And people like Mr. Suresh Bhatt want girls to follow these people.

This Ash lady is so fake and manipulative, and people want girls to follow her path. No doubt she is independent and all that, every girl should be that way; but the means by which she got there is not right. Dating and dumping guys to get to this point in life where she is , definitely not morally right. There is a lot more baggage beyond that face of her's.

"I made all the jewellery for my to-be-daughter-in-law but that my son married a foreigner is a totally different story." :))
Just on the perspective of appearance, there is more gold at this wedding than than there is abhi & ash. It's wayyyyy tooo gaudy. The funny thing is, Abhi has more jewelry on him than she does!!!!! One of their necklaces can feed a poor family for a month... even more!!!! Regardless, I'm sure they sleep well at night. (Please no perverted replies)

Hey Rani I dont understand how you people loose your control and temper for nonsense issues and comments made. Please use gentle language as you and we are staying and belonged to cultured country. Please use your emotions and temper for a purpose and cause instead of wasteing just by using the uncultured words that you know.
Please change your self for a better society. Thankx Understanding, Regards, Nags.

Mr. Raju, I understand your point. However there are some people in this world, whether they be Indian or not, who will only understand another's stand by speaking their language. Now I have followed this person (ON) throughout this forum, and this is how he/she responds to most everyone. So I just responded back in a way that scums such as him/her would understand. Thank you!!!

Rani, I appreciate your comments. We want to be cultured, but some people NEVER understand that and mistake courtesy for meak and say all sort of things. AND, they dont stop at that, but go on to poison the whole society. So unless we speak their language (which means no real sense for a sane person), our culture will not survive, or be sold to forieners for whom these people will polish shoes. This is one good reason india will never be itself, but rather in the hands of others as puppet.

idiot deepti. He is not saying he is miserable or whatever, and not that ash and abhi or whoever should not marry. The misfit extra extravaganza is the point. Abusing everyone just like that silences some people who would want to say something sensible too
