Friends, 1st cheapest car is Bajaj Auto, just put a more wheel and decorate little better. What Mr Rahul Bajaj is doing? Just do it and launch it before NANO comes.
Anyway it will be unfortunate if TATA really exits from Singur. Hope it will not happen, because Govornor,Mr G.K.Gandhi has taken initiative to resolve the issues. I AM SURE TATA WILL NOT GO FROM Singur. Because TATA is very old name in WB. They are having TATA Metalics, TATA Bearings, TATA Tea, TATA Cockoven here at WB.
Its really a sad day for INDIA as whenever we have tried to carve a niche for ourselves in the World, we ourselves have pulled our brethren down.
Nano is not only a challenge to the Toyota's,Honda's,GM's,Ford's,Renault's of this world but also a national pride which would rightfully give Indians a deserving place in the sun of Small Car MAnufacturing.
The spin off will be immense will millions of Dollars worth of investemnts in to projects of similar kinds & most importantly for the Ancilliary units. For the people of West Bengal it would have developed into a hub providing jobs to not only the people directly working at the plant but also involved with ancilliary units. It would have helped the people acquire new skill sets in Automobile Manufacturing leading to further development of a pool of highly skilled workers attracting more auto companies thus transforming Bengal from realm of deprivation , chaos, murders, exploitation where self serving politicians exploit the emotional frailities of an ignorant masses in to a population of empowerment, with financial independence & a secured future.
Its indeed a very sad day for all patriotic Indians
It would be disaster if Tatas move out. As Rs 193000cr FDIs and FIIs are at stake. Ms Mamta must be taken to task at any cost by locals who will be unemployed. The complete industry is with Tatas.

It will be good for the country and the world if the heavy floods, now in bihar and assam, when they reach bengal soon, wash away the bindi-less 'bannerjee' woman, and all her bangla-infiltered supporters, into the bay of bengal.
Well we don't want any industries to make money .. All the industry profits should be distributed to workers .. Industry should make products whether the products are needed or not .. All the industrialists should go bankrupt .. No worker should be allowed to work hard .. Work should always be optional ..

lol. The irony is that its the commies now who are looking like capitalists while the 'proletariat' now comprise political parties. Funny thing this political mutation.

Yes, the entire country of ours should become uniformly poor, socialistically living in the stone age, for our leftists. Only left-politbureau permanent members and wives will live smartly dressed, english-speaking lives, on payments from anti-india agencies, abroad. Their kids and grand-kids will also prosper in various contries abroad. What was 'Jai hind' for hehru and others, is only 'die hind' for the leftists, now.
Lord vinayaka, who killed the rat-formed asura in early days, should now save india from the same mooshaka-asura [mouse-demon], now born to destroy india as the bad-rat, 'ka-rat'. [ka = kalmasha = evil, in sans]

Mr. Nonsense, Did you loose your head yesterday evening before reading this page :)
Mamata has amply demonstrated that. Remember this is the same woman who bought a fake doctorate degree and was wearing it before her name. Take a look at her academic records. It's PATHETIC. Yet, she has managed to fool the so called Bengali intelligentsia - ALL of them on this matter. I don't know enough to comment about the details. But to see that a handful of farmers completely destroy the process of industrialization sinks my heart. These are the times I do tend to feel the "danda" philosophy of China actually is better. For the greater good, if someone (like Mamata) needs to be sent to the gallows, I really don't think I will weep. Last but not the least, this illeterate vile woman has managed to let our heads down - and somewhere I won't forget or forgive the Bengalis in Calcutta who failed to put this evil woman down

Very true... bengalis ko time hi kahan hai India ke perspective se sochne ka...thy are all ami and tumi...baki to sub ebwakeeof hai dost...humaare ajise..who were happy to see TATA,taking on the world..
This bad sign on the part of industrial growth in West Bengal.Mamata Banerjee's agitation has reduced the chanse of getting a new job to youth.I am a bengali, as a consultant moving through out India, internally I feel sorrow / ashamed, that West Bengal is NOT DEVELOPING industrially. Being a disturb area, Assam still in fur better stage in developing industrially than Bengal. For Singur,Mamata Banerjee is responsible. If Tata does not want ,do you think that, one NRI from US WILL INVEST MONEY on industry in West Bengal. After some days the same farmer will curse Ms. Banerjee, that his son could not get a job in Nano's plant. West Bengal Gov. should think seriously in this matter. Any BANDH is not good for developing. If,industry will not come in Bengal, economic condition of the people in Bengal will go down.
Well we don't want any industries to make money .. All the industry profits should be distributed to workers .. Industry should make products whether the products are needed or not .. All the industrialists should go bankrupt .. No worker should be allowed to work hard .. Work should always be optional ..

Do u understand the crux of the issue? what is ur age i dont know. Looks like u r making a hasty comment without getting the heck of it. Dont get swayed by the baised media. they are paid by Industrialists who want to make quick bucks without commitment to society. Go through the comments of Benugopal Dhoot. Ratan Tata lives in a glass house. Had there bn even Rusi Modi around the situation would not have come to this pass.
