So Tata is no longer the strongest steel and it can bend down under threats from Mamta.Earlier Mr ratan said "despite mamta we shall come out with Nano from bengal".Where are his statements now?Why cann't he stick to his words despite mamta?
Earlier CM said "we are 235 and they are 30...who would stop us"...who are stopping the 235 now?just the 30?
Ratan Tata is worried about the safety and security of his workers.Where was his worry when the poor farmers were charged by the police and was gunned down?Where was his worries when Tapashi Malik was raped and murdered? Is he only worried about him and his workers? So why he acts like the saviour of Common Bengalis and the state?

Firstly understand why Tata's has to set up the Nano plant in West Bengal ?
Do you think that they can't set up elsewhere ??
What opportunities it will create to people of West Bengal ? Be it be ancillary units, be it be employment (permanent, contract, daily labour, staffing etc.,), how much money will rotate from hands of WB people, What new companies will come forward to set up industries in WB, and there are plenty...
Industrialization only uplifts the economony and for this political gain of your leader mamta from the farmers has lost the deal...
I'm not against Mamta, if she is really looking for the gain of farmers, why she is only looking for land ?? why not other issues like loans to farmers, rationalization on the costs of pestisides, grants to farmers, jobs to farmers, education to farmers, good roads, buildings to farmers, and good facilities to Farmers....you know there are plenty tooo ??
I would say, end of the day, who is the losers now ??? Is Tata?? or WB ???
Tata is always TATA man...very strong now after this act..

Good Rajnish. That was a matured answer. If they coukd set it up else where in bengal(even in single cropped land in Singur,) why are they insisting for this land?and regarding the issues you have been talking about, agitations against ration scam was a sign where the ration dealers were forced to do away with their black money.
Actually nothing contructive can be done by doing "secret trade" with the industrialists and by applying force. This whole issue could have been solved 2 years back if the opposition were given the respect they deserved.

ask Mamata - she has answers to all questions (never mind if that does not make any sense)!

it seems no one has the answer here, but can keep on saying about industrialisation without facing the reality.
CPM is getting paid back in their coin.Govt of West Bengal should think in terms of industrialising STRIKES,BANDHS and DHARNAS in which they are expert
Shame on Mamta n her cheap politics of taking people.. n now even industries on ransom… shame on her .. Same old tactics of going on dharna/ strike/hartals... nobody benefits from such acts... I am sure dat her party wl be wiped out and should be wiped out of political map... Hats off to Tata n best wishes n prayers with them to come back with much more vegenance n go ahead with Nano .. The Dream Car of the Massess of India …

THAT TOO, WITH THE HELP OF POLICE, CPIM & DYFI GOONS AND BUDDHADEB GOVERNMENT, FOR TAKING FOR POSSESSION OF FERTILE LAND OWN BY THE POOR FARMERS. IT IS THE FARMERS WHO ARE OWNERS OF THE LAND TO WHOM THEY SHOULD SELL THEIR LAND, IF AT ALL THEY HAVE INTENTION TO SO TO DO.

CPIM has got a taste of it's own medicine. Strikes, Bandhs are their contribution to the nation.
Time and again these politicians have hampered the growth of states and overall growth of the nation due to their miniature vested interests.
If atall TATA shifts its production base to other state, what about the investment it all ready made in the state, the investment made by the ancillary units and overall thousands of people employed directly and indirectly by the project.
Its high time the State as well as the Central government take some tough stand against such nuisance and stop these kind of creeps hampering the development of the state and the country.
Bengal already has a trademark of not favoring the investment opportunities and this incident will further take away the opportunites lying for the state.
Well Mr. TATA u tried enough, let's call it a day now.

WB guys, you have great minister Pranab and PriyaRanjan who were not helping and sending signals against TATAs'. I think, Centre is talking something in one hand and doing something on the otherhand. Tata exposes Congres also.
This is nothing but sheer politics going around. Why on earth did Ms.Banerjee obstructed the new project when she very well knew that it was WB which would have gained. What was Mr.Buddhadeb doing all the while. If the question was of the farmers then could'nt he discuss the same with the farmers, was'nt he able to allot new land(s)to the concerned farmers. At the outset, a man of his calibre should have known the consequences in allowing the project to begin. If these things happen who's going to come and invest in the state. And for Ms.Banerjee someone needs to tell her that blocking an express highway cannot be considered as a protest. She's not a new star born to the world of politics that she has to prove herself. When you are a devoted leader then you have to think for the people not for yourself and this is what we knew about her but before she began this agitation. And for TATA's there's always a new zone for them.
Let us be objective here. No need to sarcastic of angry. Ler us examine some facts briefly.
Kerala 'has' 4 airports (including the forthcoming Kannur). Is developing two world class sea ports (Vallarpadam and Vizhinham). Is developing the waterways to western standards. Is planning a 6 lane expressway as a backbone from north to south.
If TATA is making Nano anywhere in Kerala it can be transported to anywhere in the world with least investment. No other place can compete or offer any better logistics!!
So, the best place for NANO is Kerala (preferably, North Malabar)

Dream on Buddy! It is never going to happen. Mallus and Bongs are brothers. Tatas are never going to again burn their fingers.

May be it is a dream. But "WE" (Kerala under Commies) are moving in the right direction...Kerala is known for its efficiency. Compare the execution of Cochin and Bangalore airports!!!!

Sorry Kerala. Though you mentioned about Kerala, you are not for industry destinations and you are meant for burning fingers. The best destinations are Gujrat,TamilNadu,Andra,Maharastra,Karnataka. This is the best order. The idea is, no issues with any parties and quick clearance and facility provided and uninterupted govt machinery.
people who own the land must be very rich...some how the poor farmers working there get only 20-30 or upto 100 INR/Day. If there is a factory and people are employed they should get more than that...Other thing if land is so fertile then what was mamta doing when people wanted food? She should have gone there on dharna and asked government for help. Kya yaar all this is political mess...
