how can u think of putting indian banks on list of world 10 top banks: pehle ja ke dekho woh bank kaise kam karte hai we are nothing we are corrupt and lazy bums we want everything smooth and whole day just watch cricket match and point each other and look sober in front face. Largest banks ranked by Forbes which is a company that actually has anylst all over the world so their data has less margin for error compared to the rediff people who just have nothing better to do but randomly make stupid lists with false contents. Wish Indian banks were on the top 20 but unfortunately.... State Bank of India is the highest ranked Indian Bank. The list is dominated by banks form US and UK. I think by next year more US banks will be on the list because big international american companies are changing their strategy to banking becuase of the current economic crisis.
Some of these new big banks will be: Goldman Sachs AIG (which is being nationalized) Freddie Mac Fannie May ________________
Just as a point of interest the largest company in the world is Exxon Mobile(US.
which made a profit of $(US)41 billion dollars and has a market value of $466 billion dollars. ____

I agree with this.... In towns/small cities... they dont bother about customer.. In rural area They makes customer fool. They feel that they are helping public by keeping their money.

the ranking seems to be by "by total assets in US dolalrs" and not by no. of branches, staff count, no. of advertisements they put out, visibility, no. of disgrunted customers, vote, blood, eyes...
