No doubt about that. Most bizarrely managed banking institution so much so that its promoters don't know where the money exactly is.

Its very easy to say HDFC Bank is bad or ICICI is better coz they are providing services to their customer for longer hours. Have you ever thought of those people who gets their asses screwed off, just to make sure that people like you can get their transactions done. If you want to praise ICICI Bank, I have no problem in that, but before that, join ICICI Bank then say it. Only after joining ICICI Bank you would understand what they go through. Working 24 Hours is excellent from Customer's point of view, but from an employee point of view its "BRITISH RULE" once again. They don't have any kind of freedom. ICICI Bank employees work for more than 13-14 hours in a day. They come at around 0730 hours and leave at around 2200 hours. So you can very well understand whats their life looks like. So if you want to praise a Co., better join it and then do it. Otherwise just KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.

If you are working like a slave for ICICI better to resign. As per the customer point of view the bank is worst and extracts the money from the customer all possible ways

abbe smartass, if a customer praises a bank, he'll do it from his perspective, not the employees, go n get some common sense before venting out your frustration, n by the way, icici pays better than hdfc, n it pays because it takes more out of its employees, n they've not put a gun to their heads sayin u have to work here, if someone is not comfortable, he has the right to leave n join another bank. so plz think before writing crap here

n yeah, the bank has started to suck, because it employs all sorts of frustrated employees, who vent their frustrations on their customers, because there is so much workload because of the growing amount of customers icici n hdfc is serving. my suggestions, plz put up more branches, n better well behaved employees, n have surprise checks at banks to see how they serve their customers

absolutely, its always good to first get into other shoes bfr u start pointing the dirt..its rather very easy going to scream, to shout and to say such nice things about an organisation, u may not be knowing the internal mechanism which ICICI Bank has for its customers, i m sure no other would be having it to take care of even the smaleest of the request of the cmrs, all requests, complaints are dealt with utter most seriousness. How can u expect a person to have smile on his face after a continous job of 10 hours, have u ever seen a lunch break or any other excuse during services..at the end of the day ICICI Bank is also a financial institution which has to abide by certian rules and procedures so if a person thinks that his work will be done over ruling all policies coz its a pvt bank sorry boss wake up...so bfr u do reveiew of somebody take points in consideration always...

Looking at replies from a few employees of the above said banks it is evident that they are just overused machines . They fail to understand that the customers are not fining fault with the staff but the process which makes the staff so .

Just imagine if you go to a restaurant and you are being not treated properly / not made at ease / not being felt welcomed / do not get a place to sit for long hours / your order not getting placed etc etc just because the staff is over worked ... will you appreciate it ??

Yes the staff is not at fault but the restaurent is .

These banks can increase manpower/infrastructure/shifts and stop chasing big greedy targets of customer aquisition . They should first consolidate on better services to existing customer base . Anyway I am a customer I am not married to a restaurant/bank .. I will change place if I get a better restaurant / Bank

Wait and watch. Anil Ambani is starting financial services. Only Ambanis can be better in fleecing customers than ICICI.

yeah i too rely on forbes list for all things like top 2000 companies of the world ... the best and worst cars in the world... the best cities to live.... its a really good site if you are interested in such things . If you just go by assets, then Royal Bank of Scotland is the largest, though the ranking is considered by assets - sales - profitability ratio .
