I have written comment before where I have compared it with a bicycle.....Why do you think, all who have written the comments are morons? Why do you think other readers in rediff are same as you? Take my identity.....I have worked in the greatest MNCs, namely Samsung, Intel, Panasonic and Toshiba after completing my Masters in Europe, where I have worked in Airbus A-380.....we have developed the least noisy aircraft on the earth....I have developed award winning Digital Television for Samsung, Lowest power chip in Intel and latest gizmos in Panasonics....not bug fixing/service as you may think....but the core development in a multinational core team in Japan, US and Suwon, Korea...I have compared this innovation with a "bicycle" because I know what true innovation is.....Its not a negative thinking.....I know what we Indians are capable of....but we are making our aim very low.....and dancing with an innovation which is not adding anything new....It may be a "wonderful discovery" for you because you do not know what is happening around the world.....but this is not an innovation for me, because I always aim higher.....

Yes Buddy, You should buy and post a photo so that we can see. Other wise, no use of prasing. and promise you are not maker of this machine. It is good effort, we should admire. Not an science achievment as practically, it will fail. You will start in night to reach office school college in time in morning. Will it sell? BIG NO. so I would praise for college guys for there good efforts but nothing extra ordinary. If I hurt you I am sorry.
they tried something , praiseworthy...but the details doent look impressing, first of all 97 CC will have difficulty to carry one 90 Kilo guy, so rest you imagine !!! Secondly its imp to know how much speed this car can achieve, with my little knowledge abt car , it is practically not interesting if this can cannot reach a moderate speed....the again it depends if it is designed to replace pollution creating auto rickshaws then some other story, but if this is created to replace cars then we have a big problem....well lastly the design, aero dynamic dosnot mean it has to be lokk like a coffin on 3 cycle tyres...well it might be changed to a formula one car with some changes in the design i suppose :-)
All this information, but everything's so technical, its of no interest to a common reader. No doubt the mileage is great, and kudos to the team for that! But the article fails to mention anything about the maximum speed, the maneuverability and safety. Would this "coffin" survive an impact? What if the "bicycle" tyres burst??!! Would it just go and crash on anything thats around?? Can it be driven on roads? Can the bicycle tyres survive potholes?? Mileage is not the only thing to consider!! Add in a proper tyre, a better engine for speed, and a little bit of safety features and the mileage will drop DRASTICALLY! The car would essentially become a TATA Nano!!
It is nice to see young minds thinking differently. POB for that. Can the team now work on a four seater model which can give a mileage of say even 60KM/Litre! That would be a great improvement. KEEP IT UP!
instead of appreciation u people are comparing with big auto company. its just inital model which they made.atleast they do something.its very easy to pass comment on anyone. good job guys.all the best

Some years back a fellow in Tamil Nadu Ramar Pillai claimed he can make petrol from herbs. And lots of people believed his wild claims without any criticism. He turned out to be 100% fake.
At least these fellow should put up other specifications of the vehicle (can we even call it a vehicle). Otherwise from the looks of it and the demo, it will best fit for amusement park rides or demo in their college lab.
all those who say negative about this innovative step are either failure or negate themselves, they r the people who never dare to do differnt nor appriciate others for doing well. all the luxories in today's world hav come to us with the kinda bigining like this. great job guys, u can change the future of traveling. lage raho................

look at the design before you say good job guys..they have kept the engine to a rickshaw and a cover to look like car..is this a discovery..if so look at the other discoveries of other countries..u will know where we are..dude
