Message given by world bank is very true.more than 100 millions of people in the world will be starved.and out of 100, 55% will be indian. Other than oil ,check the prizes of other thing like food.
No amount of reasoning will assuage the poor. They cannot get the same stuff for their almost fixed income.
The essential items have to be given away at fixed prices, that is subsidise them.
The oil price is a culprit. Nobody knows how high it can go, except it is not going to come down much, if at all. Oil is essential in all activities, so we have to try for lesser dependence on a war footing. Much easier said than done! Unless there is some break-throughs, we have little hope.
All parties should go for a common platform to attack this vital issue. So far, the issue is just a political game with an eye on next election.
The only problem with all govts is that none has given attention to AGRICULTURE and its development. Be it any state or govt, all are busy in making money and these ** do not think or care about farmers. Our country which is basically agricultral land should have been develooped keeping in mind that. But in fact * politicians rarely help in that, and other problem is that normal ppl even do not know about the dirty politics. Why we cant produce and export sugar, wheat and other things. India is largest producer of fruits and nobody promotes. Ok just one line FARMERS should be given help and agriculture should be given high priority (no politics with them).

The Govt is helping farmers by creating SEZ and industries in the farm lands so that a race known as " FARMERS" should disappear and India will depend on industry produced genetically gened food and all this to just fill their own coffers with money.This is the will and thinking of our political leadership.India will go down like a lead ball in another 10 years time when all the farm land will disappear and the builders will build huge concrete structures on them.And that's the disaster India is heading to.
The comparison of international and domestic inflation of the food items shows that how indian small farmers are made spineless human and exploited. I sympathies for their poorness
This is high time now to take strong measures for development of Agriculture.We have been just talking about IT, Stocks, Business, Acquisitions etc.But we are neglecting the farmers & their well being.As a result agriculture is no more an attractive profession. Govt should focus more for the development of the Agricultural Lands & Farmers so that we can produce more food commodities & we need not depend on other countries.
CPIM Fellows like Yechury & Karat are working on behalf s of congress. These fellows have been bought over by congress & have no business with leftist thinking .. Yechury & Karat have not won even a municipal election..are conspiring to throw out the real leftists like Jyoti babu!! These rootless fellows have sidelined Jyoti Da & diwallowed Somnath Da to contest vice President elction .. showed his finger to Smnath Da , just like Chappel showed it to Kolkata..Entire CPIM depends on bengal support as the base of CPIM & win election from there but get all the cream position for people like Yechury & Karat whereas ,tall the bongs have been shown the door!!!just like what Chappel did to Sourav!!! Bongs are real dumb!!!

Yechuri & Karat are double agents and they are anti India.Both are the chamchas of China and are eating up this poor country for their own selfish means.They are parasites like bird flu virus who will keep eating India.
