Probably the immediate reason for the rise in inflation is the vote bank politics of the govt. Huge salary increase for govt employees. There were incidents of 500 rupee notes being confiscated by container loads at our sea port. So intelligence bureau and customs has a big role to play to avoid Pak sending fake currency to destabilise us. Avoid all the unnecessary expenses of the government. Why should each and every minister be escorted by police and security forces. Any way they are thugs and goondas and can look after themselves very well without the help of the armed forces at govt expenses. Close down all the loss making PSUs. I am a retired person from a private organization and do not get pension. Whatever little money I have in the bank gives me as interest is eaten by inflation which is almost equal to the interest given by bank. There are thousands like me. Let the government change the currency overnight and introduce anew notes and make all transactions through banks.Let all political parties declare their wealth.
It is not the prices of food articles alone that has risen everything is costlier due to Service Tax on all and sundry services. I dont what the finance Minister has left untaxed to cater to the luxurious lifestlyes of bureacrats, MPs and Govt Officials

RSS was one of the first institutions to STOP caste considerations. It professes itself as Hindu (which is the right of any person since we have freedom of religion here). It is not against any religion and in fact helps non-hindus in the times of crises.

bjp is definintely not the ideal party that it was when no one voted for them. in order to gain votes, they have included unscrupulous techniques and people just like congress and other opportunist parties.
BUT... when they came to power, they did a fat lot of good by building good roads (reducing costs and making investments in non-metros posisble) AND opeining / regulating the telecom sector because of which we can actually write such comments so easily without thinking of the phone bill of congress-years. AND continuing with the congress economic policies of 1991 without making it an ego issue.
