Inflation Rises..why?
by Tom Dick on Apr 11, 2008 03:04 PM

Probably the immediate reason for the rise in inflation is the vote bank politics of the govt. Huge salary increase for govt employees. There were incidents of 500 rupee notes being confiscated by container loads at our sea port. So intelligence bureau and customs has a big role to play to avoid Pak sending fake currency to destabilise us. Avoid all the unnecessary expenses of the government. Why should each and every minister be escorted by police and security forces. Any way they are thugs and goondas and can look after themselves very well without the help of the armed forces at govt expenses. Close down all the loss making PSUs.
I am a retired person from a private organization and do not get pension. Whatever little money I have in the bank gives me as interest is eaten by inflation which is almost equal to the interest given by bank. There are thousands like me. Let the government change the currency overnight and introduce anew notes and make all transactions through banks.Let all political parties declare their wealth.
