I am Marathi but I do not require any reservation for myself.If there is increased competition from Northies; I will gear up and hone my own skills to improve and face the challenge. our own legacy and heritage is enough for us to accept the challenge. We are not mentally or physically weaker than the Northies.
In fact I reject reservation for anybody belonging to any category.
Atlast Raj has succesded in puting Marathis & Muslims in the same bracket in the eyes of common indian people.
Today everyone in India is seeing Marathis in the same manner the way whole world percived the muslims.It is these handful individuals like Raj & Bin Laden who spoils the image of the whole community.

India is Sanskritic Country blessed with different cultural, great saints,leaders who fought for freedom. Now instead of maintaining & improving our nation to the most developed country, why waste time in caste,creed religion?
Mumbai being a cosmopolitan city, which is world famous city for its spirit of unity. Why people forget 26/7 disaster or bomb blast series or any other problem faced by Mumbaikars, that time nobody went behind, while helping people whether he is Marathis,Gujarathis, UP's, Sindhis or any other caste that time every one came forward to help.
So why politicians wants to divide beautiful Mumbai? Just remember the proverb "Divided we fall & united we stand. We all are Indians first say proudly "Mere Bharath Mahaan" And stop all this Rubbish and try to save Indians many innocents are dyeing. Jai Bharath.
Why in maharastra only? Every state should do this. AND THE OUTSIDER'S,ONLY HAVE TO DO THAT--EVEN A SINGLE OUTSIDER'S IN A STATE SHOULD DENY TO WORK IN THAT STATE(ANY KIND OF WORK)--WETHER IT MAY BE AT RAILWAY STATION/AIRPORT/BETAL SHOP/ HOTELS/ RICKSHAW PULLERS/AUTO-TAXI DRIVER'S AND ALL KINDS OF BLUE AND WHITE COLLARS JOB.AND LET THAT STATE ARRANGE FROM INSIDER'S TO FULFILL THESE GAPS .

@NST Man you need to understand that Tata, Biral and Ambanis began with their humble earnings and then made it big. If you are too inclined, you should tell them to go away and tell Marathi Manus to start industries. Complete self dependance!
Dose this mean that raj is only 20% indian and 80% Maharastrian. And let us start a debet on how much mumbai has given to mubain's as a part of maharashtra and how much as part of india. would any mnc will go to mumbai as only a part of maharashtra. Please note we call it Maharashtra not "Maha - Rashtra" as understood by our dear friend RAJ
Why reservations only for marathi youths, why is he not speaking for jobs to local which includes people from all other states living in maharashtra for last 30-40 years and are maharashtra residents, what does he mean by "bhoomiputra"???. Has anyone dared to ask him from where did he got money to buy a Rs.400 crore land in Mumbai, everyone knows he was a cartoonist, can a cartoonist arrange such a huge sum. the reason for raising this question was that he had amassed this sum from people like us, from marathi youths. i also agree local should get opportunities but you should have that talent to support the claim.
When there is Cast based reservation why not region based?. It is high time that the state bifurcations are made as regions which will cut out many the unwanted troubles like sharing water and right for job etc based on language they speak.

India was a country divided before British. If these suggestions of region/caste based divisions are accepted, instead of being one of the great nations of the world, we'll become a bunch of useless countries Maha rashtra, Kannada rashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telugu Desha etc. Fighting each other over issues like water, language and border.
If India has succeeded inspite of all odds we have it is because, we chose to overcome our differences, not emphasize on them.
