Mr. Raj Thakare is absolutely perfect. No one can prosper at the cost of son of soil. Whatever opportunity or progress takes, first right is of the Son of soil, it may be anywhere. No one could deprive son of soil of their rights. if these UPites, or Biharis want they can start industries in their native states & enjoy lifestyle what they want their. But in Maharashtra first right to everty thing is of Son of Soil.

what is meant by first right ? The UP /Biharis are doing no one else does ( taxi, auto, secuirty guards, construction workers )and that is why they are demand everywhere including Marathi industrialists ( if there are any ) . Also why can't it be a rule that only a son of the soil can run a company so that Ambani's go back to Gujarat, Mittals to UP/Rajasthan, Tatas to Persia and so on. Hindi movies can have only actors whose mother tongue is Hindi/Urdu - Gowarikar makes only Marathi movies and so on - and shooting done only in Hindi speaking states. You mean to say brokerage houses must sack all gujarati fund managers and replace them with Marathis ? or TCS hires only Marathi engineers even if they can't write a line of code.
You are being just silly because you don't even know what you want.

No employer goes out to recruit employees from far off places as long as locals are available and have competetive productivity. Better training and improving productivity would help the cause of local emplyment more than reservations. Reservation for "Bhumiputra" is basically a devissive demand. It makes a direct claim of India not being a single country. What happens to the rights of investors whose money is invested in these industries? If this demand should only be conceded with the right of industry to move in/out as and when they consider it fit. Then people who claim right to employment on grounds of "Bhumiputra" will get badly exposed if the industry moves out due to poorly productive labour. There is not enough local investment to sustain employment in Maharashtra on the basis of locally owned industry.

corrupt politicians have raped states like UP and Bihar hence creating a vacuum in terms of jobs and opportunities--naturally people will flock else where to eke out a living--industrialists/govt invests in mumbai but if you note the indian pattern of employement parochialsim plays a major part--other than merit for professional jobs i think at least the clerical requirements or support staff needs should go to the locals.When lallu prasad can send train loads of biharis for railway clerical jobs to bangalore why will not every idiotic politician not try out these stunts?

dragon u must be kidding, u r begging for reservation(just like a handicap). but nothing will change though i can understand ur insecurity and incompetency.
The phenomena is there world over, including the US. Outsiders are treated with contempt by locals. There is local contempt also when local companies are snapped up by outsiders. Its not just about Bhaiyas or fundamental rights of Indians, as the word has been coined in a derogatory terms. However this comes after the Central Govt raised the bogey of more Reservation for SCST in the the private sector, it has led to demands by all regional actors. It is about local exploitation without any meaningful contribution and only subjugation by the haves of the have nots, by snatching the lands in the name of development, with no means of production or livelihood left for locals to survive.

Dear Rohit, Pl think before u blabber anything. Us is not excercising this policy,they say that if a candidate from US is not qualified for the job,then only the job be given to outsider. It is not dividing it in states. God help these unidimensional fools.
Reality is infront of everyone. India is Rising or Blah blah. But the truth is still 90% of india in darkness of Poverty. When in the same state farmers are not getting food to feed. leaders should try to help farmers. they should send their party workers to help those poor people. But they want Mumbai. Its a place of Money. Want to Raj in mumbai. Its a shame. Young India Leaders want ministry. I will suggest one thing please before taking the food in your AC room. please imagine faces of those farmers who given every thing for those.
Why there is no MBA in Agriculture Management? Why there is no new Engineering college for Agriculture technology.

If UPP'ites leave Maharashtra,then Mumbai will stand no where.and who on this earthj gave u the right to call urself son of soil,a graduate doing his BE/MBBS/MTECH/CA from India is and should be eligible to work anywhere in the COUNTRY . If u want ur own country (Maharashtra) ,go demand for it ,and the raise ur voice. and in that case dont expect any funds from Centra when ever u have a calamity(which happens every two years.)

answer these: why farmers r killing themselves in vidhrva why naxals r screwing marathis in maharash. why adivasis r suffering in maha. why poor manoos r living likeinsects in mumbai. why bal and raj ve to instigate roits for political benefit. why marathis r begging for reservation(like a handicap if they r so cometent) its just a coincidence that mumbai is the financial capital of india and is in maha. so obviously people will where there is money.
