I donot know how these politicians are getting such Novel ideas. Same type of attitude is there in Bangalore where other people are targetted. Instead why dont they concentrate or focus on improving city infrastructure or for that matter how to implement projects faster and remove unwanted bottlenecks which are available in Government nodal agencies and ensure a free and transparent country. All of them would remember those sort of activities for years even after their death instead of indulging in such naive politicking. Grow up Man
Mumbai is truly a cosmopolitan city. made by each and every person came from different part of the country. If Raj is interested in Marathi manoos, he should go to other parts of the state and prevent the suicide of poor farmers, educate thje tribals, etc. Whart Raj has done to Marathis, except exploiting them to meet his political ends. Marathis remained where they were 100 years back, strugling for a 260 sq feet flat in their own city, running for a window seat in a local train and aspiring for vada pav. Let each of us (including marathis) should think big for the nation as whole otherwise I am afraid, mumbai will have same fate what Calcutta had 20-25 years back because of narrow thinking of Bengalis with the result business had shifted from calcutta.

What congress was not able to express for the last 25 yrs was done by Raj in one statement. There is no oposition from either the BJP or Congress to it...this means that some where the congress people support this coz they them selves are to blame for it, as they allowed migrants from other states to come and create shanty towns on the outskirts of all major cities of Maharashtra.
We should kick this moron out of country...he should be tried for sedition and treason...for waging a war aginst the Indianess of the land...Had the great chatrapathi shivaji maharaj seen this...he would have propmtly put him on trail and exiled him or worse!!!
If Raj Thackerey feels that Maharashtra belongs to Maharashtrians, then let him train the marathi manoos to compete with other Indians who come to Maharashtra with their own guts and qualifications. If the marathi manoos has guts in his butts, then instead of merely asking for job reservations in the private sector and other jobs that north Indians undertake, the marathi manoos should snatch the opportunities with his own abilities instead of sitting and crying for not able to get jobs. Maharashtrians generally are lazy people, will not go out of Maharashtra for jobs or are not competent enough to go out of Maharashtra. Hence Mr. Raj Thakerey wants easy jobs for his marathi manoos. Instead, he should open employment exchange, training centers for the marathi manoos instead of threatening and begging for reservations. Jai Hind

Marathi people are not against the outsiders but this dirty dog (Raj Thakrey) is in the mood of breaking the silence of Maharastra. India need some hard steps if we want to be developed country. We should learn from China that do not compromise with its National Integrity. Probably we are facing the worse side of Democracy.

MNS are not above our constitution & our Country. They cannot restrict Fundamental Rights of citizens of this country. They should be restricted for creating chaos in Maharashtra by making new remarks. Their remarks are not only against the North Indians but they are THE ANTI-INDIAN REMARKS. They should be taught that they are also the product of this Country and should know about their limitation in this democratic country. In our country no one is above the constitution. They are trying to split our country on regionalism basis.
Request Govt of India that it is time to ban MNS, the anti national organization. If MNS wants that jobs in Maharashtra should be reserved for 80% Maharashtrians, first of all they should show respect to the education, their country, to the company, respect to the job. MNS should also keep in mind that if every state will take the same decision, where Maharashtrians will go.
Definitely, MNS should know that the Indians will not accept their political drama.

If all the migrants in Maharashtra are thrown out of their Jobs(including me) and replaced by local Maharashtrians, it may not significantly alter the fortunes of Maharashtra as the jobs can be very easily outsourced from another states. Also, we can be spared expensive housing and dreadful traffic. But then the economy of an already bankrupt state like Maharashtra will collapse as the quantum of both direct and indirect Taxes and Tax-payers will fall significantly. We have seen similar happenings in countries like Zimbabwe where the economy collapsed when the government drove out migrants.
