Mumbai is not whole maharasthra
by sharad kumar on Apr 10, 2008 12:07 PM

Mumbai is truly a cosmopolitan city. made by each and every person came from different part of the country. If Raj is interested in Marathi manoos, he should go to other parts of the state and prevent the suicide of poor farmers, educate thje tribals, etc.
Whart Raj has done to Marathis, except exploiting them to meet his political ends. Marathis remained where they were 100 years back, strugling for a 260 sq feet flat in their own city, running for a window seat in a local train and aspiring for vada pav. Let each of us (including marathis) should think big for the nation as whole otherwise I am afraid, mumbai will have same fate what Calcutta had 20-25 years back because of narrow thinking of Bengalis with the result business had shifted from calcutta.
