I am not an expert but I blv that commodity exchange is main culprit in driving prices of essential commodity (except Wheat, Rice and some pulses). The best would be ban trading in commodities that are used to calculate WPI or Inflation. Trading in commodities exchange results in speculation of prices on some of the essential commodities. Also in last few years farm produce has reduced. Govt needs to improve this as well by providing technical assistence to Farmers.

You are wrong, take the history after independence, inflation has been on the run whenever congress has come to the Power. With PM like MM Singh, who has no command over the party, these things are bound. Hindustan mein>> Loot sake to loot kab sarkar jayegi ,nahin pata. This has been an ongoing story and we are characters who keep on listening to theories of congress Govt.

You are right... but I feel it is more to do with gandhi-nehru parivaar. Things were not this bad when Shastriji or even recently Narasimha Rao was PM! Parivaar creates artificial shortages by allowing hoarding and blackmarketing after receiving due cuts.

When he became FM, that time inflation also more than 6%. He able to brought dat down to 4%. Around 15th of April inflation will settle down to normal level (4) coz of some economic measures taken by finance ministry.
as long as this secular congress and communist parties are at the helm cant expect much. These one is interested in satta at any cost and another whose primary aim is to shun bjp no one has interest in the country. we can expect gdp at 5 and inflation at 9.

It has gone up after loan waiver scheme by center. Farmers have stopped working and production of commodities is expected to reduce. Salaried class will suffer even if they get 15% salary hike this year.
