I totally agree to this.People dont leave a company they leave the managers.They have mentioned the name of Marico Industry in trying to be an employee friendly company and all, but my personal experience with Kaya Skin Clinic which is a Marico brand had been very very bad.That too because of the immaturity of an operations manager who gave an undue weightage to one of the Clinic Managers,who was overly obssessed with an inferiority complex with me.And in the bargain they had to loose me.I always believe in,"Whatever happens,happens for Good"as I am now working with a very good MNC which is rated as one of the 'best employers in the world' by the renowned 'Hewitt's Survey'.But I would surely like to gain the attaintion of the CEO of Kaya over this for their own good.

I was in marico when you were there. Just to be clear for the record, we were happy to see your back... we just created a situation where you will quit on your own rather thanushaving to get rid of you and pay notice salary etc. Cheers

True:100% People leave b'se of bad attitude displayed by their hierarchy, not b'se they dont like the organisation. I have seen some really "cheap people" in these positions and I'm surprised how their clients have encouraged this, and I even hear funny things like "Even if you are qualified, even if u r punctual, even if u come back from breaks on time, even if ur performance is great, we dont ENCOURAGE people like you", which clearly shows that they encourage "back door entries, bribing, sleeping around and politicians pets", so that THEY can make it big in that organisation, and they have a group of ROWDYS networked v.well, looking after this stuff. Most of these people happen to be related to AVPs, Center/state ministers/MPs/ MLAs of the ruling party and are big BLUFF-MASTERS with no values!Ghosh!!Im surprised!!!

Hey INDIA you are right again, You know a fresher told me that she was cheated by one of our big IT companies by saying that her answer sheet was lost. Actually, the job was meant for a back door entry.

i do not agree with your statement. Things are not like this anymore. Please do note that there are people who live for the well being of others. openlyu blaming everyone like this and keeping your name as india...give it a thought...is our country that bad?

Hey Anup, It's true that people are leaving companies mainly because of harassment by the managers. And it's also true that they are using female employees to implement their evil intentions.

N.Raj & other such persons work at Fritz Freight Forwarding, Alpha, Hiranandani Garden, Powai. I appeal people not to join this company. Very diry politics and if you just look above into management's eye, your job is gone.
Some organisations provide internet facilty 24x7 to motivate staff that hold low profile non technical/admin roles that require 5% bullcrapping 95% freetime.. Maximum utilisation is evidenced and therefore the rate of attrition is generally limited.
The reason for attrition which is high is mainly because they are treated with bias. Even if they are paid a little less but are given due respect, i bet that 95% of the employees would stick to their current job . .leave off the remaining 5%. The greedy and selfsh mangers need better humanitarian traing. More and more employees start to devaluate mangers. Wake up managment ! ! ! !
I don't know where these fly by writers come from but they either don't have the necessary tools for right research or they are totaly incapable in doing the research. In this article the write mentions that the US bonses are 75%, ya right. Go to US and see for ur self that salaries haven't done up in years leave apart bonuses. Actually because of currency devaluation, salaries have gone down. Rediff in general and the writers for rediff are far ignorant from reality and time again they like to be so.

The author refers to the senior and top management positions also it is for top companies ...Like Google, Microsoft, Intel, TI, AD... These companies CEO and top management defn hav a variable pay more than 50% read articles involving pay rise in hi tech companies in Us...It is much higher than the european counterparts even
I think it is the employer's mistake for attrition. You can't blame the employee if he goes away from a company. It was only because he was offered a better job by some other company. On one hand companies talk about attrition and loyalty. On the other hand they woo other companies's employees. Even outsourcing denied many jobs to US citizens. But did that bother the US companies who outsourced their work or to the Indian companies who got the projects.
We humans tend to think only from our point of view.
