Bajaj copied the Vespa designed in Italy and has used the same basic model for decades, I think Bajaj was even taken to court for this, now they have the same identical problem with Pulsar China. Pot calling the kettle black?!
Jack is right. Design and research are unknown factors in Indian manufacturing. The same designs and products are produced year after year because the Indian public doesn't demand anything new or better. We just accept any old thing. Quality control and improvements are also unknown, after all why invest when the same old model sells? That is the biggest reason for Indian goods not bìfinding export markets, then there is no constancy in the quality, produce once, sell and run is the Indian mentality. We MUST learn to build up customer satisfaction and KEEP our customers so they come back to buy.

thank you Nadia. Your absolutely right!!! India was creative back in ancient times with Yoga and spirituality, but nowadays in India,they only want to copy from movies to ads to products even processes. No innovation, no creativity, just copy copy copy and make money. Most are obsessed with over hyped Bollywood and cricketers.
A marvellous transformation in last 9 - 10 years ...they have given us one good product after another in Wind , Pulsar , discover , Eliminator and now XCD ; the only are of improvement I feel is Customer care ... which I feel why I feel people sway towards Hero Honda ; Those who feel that Indian products are not good in quality SHOULD GO AHEAD AND BUY EQUIVALENT IMPORTED BRANDS AT 10 TIMES THE PRICE AND STOP WHINING...C'mon no company in world can give you everything for the meagre 50k you intend to spend on a motorbike !!
most of the indian goods quality is bad. I am an NRI and I have seen chinese goods flooding the markets, even china is overtaking india in manufacturing. This is coz the indian manufacturer's only want PROFIT. they will make first time good quality then the quality deteriorates. they dont care for customer like the US, Europeans and Japanese do. This is most of the indian mentality. Thats why most of US, european and Japanese goods are world famous but name any global indian brand name, very few if not any. Where is the india shining, only for manpower supply ?
