I know good job, salary, technology and all the latest gadgets are important in life and for country. But we also need clean air, water, lakes, rivers, big urban parks, civilized society, good garbage and sanity disposal system, clean public transport, good social security, public services and public health care. We need place for walking, running, hiking, river rafting, cycling, skiing, boating and all sorts of sports activities for public.

And what about the non salaried ppl who dont declare their income or under declare their income. I guess these are the ppl who can make a big difference and add atleast 5 more points to the current GDP of 8%, if they pay up the taxes. There are lakhs of such small/medium business men who declare their income as 40,000/- per anum which is lesss than even a begger in a city.

How EXACTLY will more tax revenue caus GDP growth to jump from 8% a year to 13% a year?
