Six sigma,TQM,Kaizen,

I want to know if some one is ther who could give session to our industry in Navi Mumbai on the above subjecs or advise to effect such cause for improvements.

Kaizen linked with team and individual peformance

Hello All,
In one of the engg.and packaging Co. where earlier i have worked, we have linked kaizens with individual as well as team 's performance appraisals. It was mutually decided that each team will make kaizens(small improvements) in certain number per member per quarter/month in their respective areas of work. I still require kaizen litrature in Gujarati / Hindi languages for my new Co. I'll be happy if some one helps me.

We are blind Travellers

Since more than 5 years or so the Kaizen word (a Japanese word) is being told in the Indian Industrial sector. We should at least it be aware of what is the meaning of Kaizen. We should be aware of that our ancient India was one of the cradle of the human civilization and this nation was a knowledge of Mahasagar and the knowledge mongers came here from around the world and they filled up their bowls and gone.

Now too we hear from the villagers, even though they are illiterates, that KARNAA HAI THO AAJ KARO, AAJ KARO THO ABB. Every Indian knows what it means. However, we will not pay heed to such noble words. We are behind with the so called word Kaizen from the foreigners who are helpless to make understand us properly other than their mother tongue. In another words we can say they are not heeding to listen or learn our language and they know that we Indians are eager to know others words regardless of our mother%u2019s noble words.

We are aware the path way and dutifulness of Aaditya, Surya, the Sun and its scheduled duty, and at any cost it is not changeable, if it is rainy season, or winder season. Like should be the human nature. With only tireless efforts we humane to gain success for that all the resources we require are fully available at our presence and we should not go behind with the jackals that worn the skins of goats. Now too we are far behind than very many other Nations those were nothing before us. However, the people of that Nations are very much laborious so they are now far than us. For years we are selling our manpower to other nations. We should be aware of that Foreigners are asking from us $1500 or more for giving us a man days service of their technician, excluding fully furnished accommodation ( with A/C) and food and conveyance facilities. And, we simply think how subdued way we are serving in other Nations with less cost to them.

We at least see with open eyes and sense, day by day we are earning less remuneration for our services and accordingly we reduce to do our job. Really we are not using our brain and body for a flourished future and gradually we are getting rusted like worn out machineries and tools of ours. Our jackal minded heads further carry over such a way tactfully their men who help them as per their wish and whim (nowadays all are entertained with those subordinates who always eager to preach the superior heads). Those people willfully and committal workers have no value at all and they are being beaten back. This is the phenomena Kaizen like activities are coming to contact with us.

One thing more has to say, In India gradually increasing the strength of contract labours with less salary. Therefore, all are eager to adhere to hire only contract labours, thereby hires and the providers are benefited, and at the other side the labours are being crushed with less salary.

We Indians at least think from where to where we are traveling.

Implementation is Crutial

All said and done, Kaizen is definately helpful in generating a team spirit on the workfloor. I would appreciate it if I could get more details on the implementation of such measures, especially say in an older company where the rift between the management and the employees is significant with the usual "management doesnt care about us" attitude. A great article overall.

artical given with small example having huge potential of saving. if each one of us start working in this direction with self interest then no doubt we can give tough competition to globle market and feel proud of ourselve as well as our nation.

I am working in one of the pharma Co. and seek your help in getting training litrature etc. in local(Gujarati,Hindi ) languages. I hope you must be having some inputs on it. I will be very happy and appreciate your support/help if you share your such inputs with me.
