I was a victim of Yatra.coms way of fooling customers today. Booked a flights to Mumbai on Air India. After completing the documentation and charging the money on my credit card I get the following message. ______________________________________________ Confirmation

This is a sure way of cheating to get the money in their account which only need to be returned within 7 working days I am told by their call centre.

Thereafter, he pestered me till I finally gave in. He told me account opening was Rs. 5000/-. Thereafter, nothing else was required. After opening the account, he further pestered me till finally I gave in and put into my account Rs. 130,000/-.plus the initial Rs. 5000/-. I signed a lot of papers and in my ignorance may have made many mistakes. 2. Thereafter, telling him not to do anything as I would be away from Delhi for about a month and hence, would not be able to trade on my account. 3. On returning after a month, I discovered to my horror that there was a balance of only Rs. 30,000 in my account as Sh. Arora who had no knowledge or experience had been trading on my account by asking people in his office or in the corridor of his office building as to where to buy and sell and was continuously losing money in a sharply rising market Sensex going up from 12,000 points to 13,000 points during this period. 4. On confronting Sh. Arora, he said he would recover the money within a month. This did not happen and hence, I approached the manager of the branch, Sh. Ramashri Rai. 5. Sh. hello friends,few weeks back i also participated in some of these discussion boards where i had criticized few communal freaks for targetting muslims in what so ever goes wrong in the country.now few days later i am finding it difficult to access my mails,every time i try to open my account it shows there is some error in the system, go back and retry.i have also filed complaint in rediff cutomer care and now when i try to login a window shows incorrect password.I HAVE NOT CHANGED MY PASSWORD.i am asking this question cant a portal like rediff rectify a problem in a day or two??or is this a case to create problem for someone who raised a voice against communals.being a muslim it is my right to clarify to others that all muslims r not wrong.SO IS THIS A WAY OF HARASSING OR JUST A TECHNICAL SNAG WHICH IS KEEPING ME AWAY FROM MY REDIFF ACCOUNT. someone please answer.

Dude, Use GMail. Rediff mail anyway suc*ks. GMail has too many features to list out here and is very user friendly.
Could learn from developers in Singapore, who as a matter of RULE of law, only take a 20% deposit and balance 80% AFTER the handover, which is almost always on time. Infact those developers who are violating promises should be absolutely in violation of Clause 49 responsibilities...their bandido ways need exposure.
Most of Unitech's customers are of IT world so Unitech had to act. If its customers were not IT folks they would have just ignored. This is only effective for an industry where customers are IT workers and this kind of portal is market buzz.

Bingo! You have hit Bullz Eye friend. Though it is Outright Criminal on part of the Trader's/ Builder's Lobby to Swindle & Dupe Customers, the way it has been handled here reeks of something fishy. It can be a ploy by the Portal Lobby to increase viewership & Business. Also they might be Hand - In - Glove with the Trader's/ Builder's Lobby & may reveal the Complainant's to them. & do not fall easily for Rediff's Appeal. These Tricksters could have easily used the Power of the Web (which they so strongly advocate here) to Garner Public Poll for Dr. Kalam some days ago. But instead, they splashed Congress (& are still splashing) all over for Proving Themselves as a Congress Mouthpiece. Beware!
