Intellectual Guiding Body-Necessity

Sub: Intellectual Guiding Body

India needs Intellectual Guiding Body and a Regulatory Body.

Intellectually Hollowed Society lands in Confusion and Chaotic State.

Internal Discipline for the Body structure is essential to set SUBTLE INDEX- Sensitive Index.

Bureaucrats have failed to create awareness on both these fronts.

If 20 % of MPS are Intellectuals and 20 % are from Sensitive Regualtory Body - Performance structure, then India will not be in this sad state of utterly Indisciplined state.

Both above must be free from Political and Beuracrat structures.

You can Hire a CEO for a state and Pay for him.

If the person is from a political Party- of high Calibre, compensate the Party and free-him from further Corruption.

Many Nations look towards India to evolve a viable Structure of Performance.

At present we have Non-performing administrative structure and no responsibility identiefied for total damage of the Indian Society and fiber that binds Humanity.

Wake up in Time and Be wise in advance.

Amartya Sen
by Prakash Desai on Apr 28, 2007 06:35 AM  Permalink

India is not interested in Amartya Sen. He is Nobel Prize winner in Economics, but he has never considered India as his work place. He is another typical SEN (other SENs include the famous film makers) WHO HAVE BECOME RICH BY MAKING MONEY ON INDIA'S POVERTY - either by making movies or publishing so-called research articles. All for their personal benefits only. Please keep off dear SEN, India is not interested in you.
After every central govt. budget, you will find millions of people at Paan-Shop commenting on budget and poverty eradication programs - and you are just one of those. I really surprise how you got the Nobel prize without benefit of your so-called knowledge of economics to your mother land !!!!!!!!

RE:SBI VIOLENCE

Please keep off your SBI card business out of THESE POSTS. This is not the right place. The experience which you have with SBI (a Nationalized Bank), exactly similar experiences many people have with so called multinational and private banks operating in India also. If you or anybody really want to highlight these issues, go and write a detailed article of your own to be published in a proper way, which can draw attention of many people. In addition, there is a well defined legal system in our country. First go to a police station and lodge a complaint, then drag Finance Minister (Yes, Finance Minister) to court and carry on. You will get result.
BUT PLEASE KEEP OFF IRRELEVANT POSTS

PROF AMARTYA SEN IS A useless ECONOMIST for india
by ravi kumar on Apr 26, 2007 05:55 PM  Permalink

I read somewhere that he hasn't given one goddamn implementable idea for the indian poor, not to forget the fact that he has nobel price for that. What is the use of amartya sen? For me manmohan singh counts more and kalam counts more than sen.

Farmer suicides
by ravi prakash on Apr 26, 2007 04:41 PM  Permalink

I wish Prof Amartya Sen would devote time to analyse the problem of the farmer suicides of small and marginal farmers.
The problem is endemic to Vidarbha and also in a so called advanced state of Maharashtra.
This is also a state where chronic malnutrition afflicts certain tribal communities.
The official explanation of rural indebtedness does not seem to touch the real cause of this phenomenon.
