GOD Call back Arjun Singh
by A P on Apr 26, 2007 10:35 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Arjun Singh is the probably the biggest bane on our country. I was reading the transcript of his interview with Karan Thapar and that shows how much intelligence and ground work he has done. The govt has just come up with a round figure of 27% without any backup, even the rich obc, gets reservation (A so called friend of mine got into medical college and both his parents are practising doctors). The infrastructure of higher colleges is not robust enough to support the current no of students and u want to increase the no of students.

Can Arjun Singh marry one of his grandchildren to a real OBC who is extremely poor, or can Mr Sharad Pawar select 3 cricketrs from OBC and 3 more from SC/ST or forget that can even Mr Manmohan Singh have 50% of his ministers from reserved category.

This man did all this on his own will and now in an embarrasing situation to satisfy his ego is asking PM advise. I wish in his ageing health one of the doctors who became a doctor because of reservation and not due to merit operates him

by Anniyan on Apr 26, 2007 09:52 AM  Permalink

When SC dcelined the issue of quota, the TN CM called for a bandh....THEN WHAT FOR IS SC THERE, IF EVRYONE CALLS FOR A BANDH FOR EVERY JUDGEMENT, EVERYDAY WULD BE BANDH....THE PERSON WHO IS AT THE CM POST SHULD KNOW HOW TO RESPECT THE SC ORDERS...IF HE CONTINUES, THEN THERE IS NO NEED FOR SC...THEN ALL HAVE THE RIGHTS TO DECIDE THE JUSTICE...NO SC NEEDED...

It is a Shame
by A G on Apr 25, 2007 10:19 PM  Permalink

It is a shame that we Indians have elected a government which can hoist a person like Arjun Singh on the most important area for governance viz Education. I think instead of blaming him, we should look at ourselves, what makes us vote for such parties ?

Wow what a Passion
by Sunit Kumar on Apr 25, 2007 07:58 PM  Permalink

Regardless of the PROS and CONS, the PASSION and ZEAL shown by Arjun Singh to implement the Quota, is unbeliveable ? I dont get it, its not for vote bank becuase that has been achieved even without the QUOTA begin granted, because of the noise it has created. I think this has got to do with his EGO which is hurt or he is trying to show to Sonia Gandhi that he can become a better PM for his ZEAL, either case if this same person had worked for the INFRASTRUCTE development of even MP let alone INDIA, dont u think we might not have backward classes in the first place !!!!

THE RESERVATION ISSUE
by UNNIKRISHNAN PALIATH on Apr 25, 2007 05:51 PM  Permalink

SINCE MR ARJUN IS BENT UPON IMPLEMENTING THE 27% RESERVATION AT ALL COSTS(BEWARE TAX PAYERS!) IN THE ELITE INSTITUTIONS, HE SHOULD DO ONE MORE FAVOUR TO THE SO CALLED BACKWARD CLASSES. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THEIR ANSWER PAPAERS ALSO HAVE PROVISION FOR MARKING THEIR RESERVATION NUMBER WHICH WILL ENABLE THE EVALUATER TO KNOW THAT THE PAPER IS ANSWERED BY A RESERVED CANDIDATE AND HENCE DESERVE A SURE PASS NO MATTER WHAT BULL SHITS HE WOULD HAVE PENNED!!!!!

Is Supreme court really supreme in India???
by Vinde on Apr 25, 2007 05:25 PM  Permalink

I have doubts now. When our politicians like Arjun Singh in India are not adhering to the judgement given by the Supreme court, then were poor Indian citizens beg for justice as there's nothing ahead of Supereme court. If they are not accepting the judgement given by Supreme court, then I think there is no requirement of any apex court in India.
The way few days back BJP leader mentioned how can Electon Commissioner disqualify a political party, then whats the use of having Election Commission in India when there judgegement make no use to any political parties.
Why our precious money which you people take in the name of taxes are wasted on paying the people working in Govt services as an apex body when these things does not mean anything to the politicians.
Atleast give us some relief.......
